Then tried to make me take down my reviews with a Fake Refund offer. For more info see below. Ok, so i had left a Review a few days ago, and in Good Faith removed it per Shake the house request. But they have since decided they don't want to honor this, so Here is the Story. I Hired them to do a "Deep Clean" of my late Grandfathers home after he passed so we could sell the home. Invoice clearly states what is expected. They set a date, I paid and all seemed well. Date of Cleaning came, they were 2 hours late - Got lost? Then had to leave and come back in another 2 days to finish up ( was not told why, they just said need more time). They came back, spend 4 hours and said hey were done. I came to look at the property and found rubbish still on the ground, Base Boards not touched, Cabinets not wiped out and Cobwebs on the walls and Corners. ( They did do a great job on the 1 Fireplace I asked them to clean ) Informed them of my displeasure, and This is when Dasha ( I assume head cleaner reached out and asked for another try) I was hesitant to let them out a 3rd time but after speaking with Dasha, I decided to let them try one more time. Dasha arrived and I had mentioned I wanted the carpets shampooed, but it was not on the invoice and she said she could do that as an apology for all the trouble. once again I am told its done ( but there was one corner of the master bedroom she could not reach as she didn't have an extension cord and the home was 2 prong. :| So I arrive, there were still sticky spots on the floor, baseboards in some of the rooms looked better, but still had dust on Ceiling fans, Cabinets were not wiped out and Still had cobwebs on the wall. ( specifically in the Dining room a big one just on the wall at Eye level ) not like they missed a Corner but didn't wipe down the walls. and It looks like they may have damaged a Screen door. All of these things I have been asking them to do are part of the invoice I was provided. Spoke with Dasha, who then said She did her best and that if more time is needed it would normally be an upcharge ( I was never offered this in the 3 times they were out) and the invoice is more of a "We will try and get to these but if we run out of time may not" I said that's not what I read, At this point I say I would like a Full refund, and she states well they can refund minus the cost of expenses. We talked thru that. and it would end up being $66 refund of the $345. thats less than what was offered the first time I express my displeasure. At this point I said I would like 90% of it refunded, and Dasha switches to I need to stop communicating with her as she is a Woman and I am a Man ...? ok, They did offered to give me a "Refund" if I removed my review ( Google,Facebook, Angies list, and BBB) The Form they wanted me to sign was a bit vague, and Before I would take down my reviews I wanted it to be clear that they would be giving me a Full refund or at least the amount they would be refunding. At this point they said " We do not sign agreements with customers. We appreciate the honest reviews and your concern with removing them. " and I have not got anything back from them since. So I will be taking them to small claims court due to services not provided.

I broke my arm so I was unable to do much; her cleaning left the house looking sparkling. A real morale boost when you can't do much on your own.     Terrible Value - Poor Customer Service…read more My husband and I hired Cottage Care to do a move in clean on a home we just bought. We scheduled it for the day after closing before we moved in. The house had been vacant for 5 months and was in pretty good shape already since it had been on the market and having showings often. We just really wanted a deep clean before we moved in. We were assured that Cottage Care did all the details in the deep clean. We have a 3200 square foot house and they said for the deep move in clean, they would charge us $460. We figured that was a little high, but were willing to pay it for a deep clean. So we booked it. The day of the cleaning, I came by in the evening to drop some things off and I was certain they'd forgotten to come or there had been some miscommunication about date/time. There was still a layer of white dust on 3 or 4 different surfaces in different rooms that I checked. That alone made me feel like no one had come to clean. I called Cottage Care and spoke to Joel. He assured me that he'd had two teams there cleaning for six hours and he spent a half hour inspecting it. I was FLOORED since I genuinely believed no one had been in my house. Joel said he'd send someone over to "touch up" what I wasn't happy with. I said fine. Again, someone apparently came and went, but when I did a cursory inspection of the space, it was clear that either no one actually came OR the cleaners don't know how to do their job. Just a few of the MANY things that were left: * Greasy fingerprints/smudges on outlet and light switch covers * Mountains of dust (not exaggerating here, it's disgusting) on top of the kitchen cabinets * Food splatter inside the microwave * Some sticky goo inside a compartment under the stove where you are supposed to be able to store tools * Air return covers still coated in dust/dirt * Faucets still covered in limescale * Master bathtub still had streaks in it We called and told them this and asked for a significant discount. They offered us $100 off a $460 cleaning when the only thing I can say they did for sure was clean windows (which was very easy considering there are no blinds or screens at all) and remove cobwebs in can lights. I will never use them again and I will make sure that my friends never use them either. What a huge (and VERY EXPENSIVE) disappointment.
