This agency has helped me greatly in my career. Christina was so helpful and easy to work with. I…read morestarted off getting placed in an awesome company, David Yurman, for a seasonal job. The company was super professional and the office was new and modern. I made some great friends there as well. When the seasonal job was complete, maybe a week or so later, I was placed in another wonderful company and went on to be hired as a full time employee. I now have health and dental insurance and paid vacation days! Check this place out, they rock!

Received a solicitation call for a job and was advised of the "pay range". Should have gotten that…read morein writing before moving forward. In doing so I was passed over to the branch manager to whom I specifically explained my needs. That though I was looking for full time employment, my situation was not dire. During email correspondence I stated (have that in writing) that I did not wish to waste my time nor anyone else's (had already had a Skype call with the branch manager and an over the phone initial interview with the employer). The branch manager assured me not to worry. I proceed to the in person interview and was later instructed that I got the job offer. Before accepting the offer I asked what the pay rate would be. I was told an amount considerably lower than what I presently make (the bottom figure of the pay range that I was previously quoted to be exact). I stated that I could not accept it and reminded the rep that he had previously given me a pay "range". A few minutes later I received a follow up call from the branch manager (knew that was coming) who was quite desperate and pitifully tried to convince me to accept a temp job that paid less than what I currently make. Truth be told, I should have hung up then but in being professional I once again explain that it was not beneficial for me to take a job that required more of me and paid considerably less (the goal of most people is to make more money and not less I would think but everyone is different I suppose). That I had no interest in what the pay potential might be half a year from now. When he finally realized that I was not going to allow him to talk me into accepting his low wage offer, he proceeded to get hostile and tell me that he felt that I had wasted his time (never mind my 3 interviews, filling out their online paperwork, travel time and time taken off from work for the in person interview) and that his faithful employee would never have quoted me what I said he did. It was beyond pathetic to hear this man crumble over his loss of anticipated commission. At that time I had to hang up on him. Now one would think that a branch manager (who had his list of detailed questions regarding my present employment information including my income) would have the experience and foresight to question whether or not a lower pay grade would be an issue but yet, that was the one question no one in all of my phone conversations or emails thought to ask me. Take from it what you will and determine if these people are in the business of helping you or helping themselves at your expense?

I have dealt with a lot of agencies but Aerotek will be the very first that I would have say is…read morediscriminatory and are liars. They conduct FAKE interviews. They wasted my time knowing that I am presently on another job and encouraged me to come in by stating the company would be interviewing the next day and wanted a start date for the following Monday. They also invited someone else to sit into the interview who appeared to be "in training" as she watched Allison Smith go through her script. Keep in mind that I had been pre-screened by Allison by phone for 45 minutes and 20 minutes by the initial screener prior to being called by Allison. Allison said it was just a formality to be brought into the office as they wanted a personal take on the individual--yeah right! Nevertheless, her reasoning for not moving me forward after she conveyed that I was a great fit??? It was due to industry experience--which was NOT part of the criteria. There should have been NO reason other than the obvious--I'M BLACK--FOR SHAME! I generally don't like to use my race as the "reason" for not getting the job--this however was a CLEAR indication. It is so sad that agencies should be there to help you but AEROTEK likes to play with your time regardless of the knowledge that you have a job and could care less of the false hope they provide until they don't approve of your RACE, SEX, AGE, OR BODY TYPE. STAY CLEAR OF THIS ONE! I PLAN ON REPORTING THEM TO THE EEOC just to be a voice and to put it on the docket...

I found this agency through a guest of mine at the restaurant i worked at. My resume said I'm a…read more"SERVER", and that's not all I am. I went on my interview with Masuma and she asked what i was looking for and how much I'm looking to make. At the time i was working 2 jobs. And was looking for just 1 job that pays enough for me and my daughter. Within 2 weeks she found me exactly what I was looking for. Money, hours, days, and position was for me!!!!! She prepped me for the interview, gave me questions to ask the employer and let me know what they will ask of me. After my interview she told me that she emailed me a thank you letter for the employer and to just personalize it. I didn't have the time to do so since i had to go to work. She took it upon herself to do it for me. Going to extra mile to help me get to where i needed to be. The employer was taking a little long to give a decision but Aerotek was on them, keeping me posted and ALWAYS answering text messages. They ALWAYS had positive attitudes and always made me feel like they cared. I GOT THE JOB!!!! Even after working, Masuma always checked up on me. Seeing if I was comfortable and even coming by to bring me lunch. I was on their contract for 3 months and now i am officially an employee of the company making more money than i was with Aerotek. Thank you so much guys for helping me out tremendously.
