I hired Jason and his crew to do some work on an investment property in Flint. He did fantastic work at a very good price and in a timely manner. He made great suggestions for additional issues that I was not aware of when I bough the property, but never added anything to the scope of the project without being very forthright on pricing and getting approval beforehand. Quoted me a price if $10,400 to repair pole barn roof leaks. Signed contract 7/28/25 and paid $6000. Jason and 1 or 2 others came 1 day Sept 2, 2025. Next day he was at my house to collect the $4,400 which I paid. 6 weeks later there is a leak, he was notified by text. Have not heard from him and now have 5 leaks. I am a 74 yr old widow, husband passed away 2/14/2025. Would NOT recommend. Feels like I just got taken advantage of big time, who charges $10,400 for 1 day of work?? read more

I would give zero stars if possible. My entire experience and the quality of his work was terrible from start to finish. WARNING! DO NOT HIRE HIM TO DO A BATHROOM!!! I was pregnant when we hired Jason. He claimed it would only take him 2 weeks to complete the job which we were glad about because it would be done before the baby was born. I'm not sure how he thought he would get it finished that quickly when he never put in a full days work. He told me he began his days at 9am (even though we told him he could get to the house earlier). My husband would get home from work by 3pm and never saw him. Of course the baby was born and the bathroom wasn't even close to being finished. I let him know when I was in the hospital. I told him my mom was on her way to bring him something he needed. She was 20 minutes away and he didn't wait for her to get there. He also left a huge mess for us in our entry way when we got home from the hospital. He didn't have the decency to vacuum up the inch of drywall dust he left right when you walk into the house. I had just given birth and I had to clean my house so the new baby wouldn't be surrounded by so much dust. I had to force him to come to the house to finish the job. He kept saying he was at other job sites that he got after he started my job. When I hired him I was told I had to wait for him to start so he could finish another job. The quality of the work has been a nightmare. The caulking he did around the tub was a complete mess, the grout in the shower walls had holes everywhere. He painted the ceiling the same color as the walls (blue). He did a lot without asking what we wanted. Like painting the bathroom ceiling blue because he is lazy. There was a corner that was hard to paint so he left it gray instead of getting a smaller paint brush. He put base molding in that is very tall because he wanted it to go higher than what was previously there so he didn't have to replace anything. However the wall where the toilet is the molding was too tall and interfered with the plumbing. So he cut it shorter. So one wall has shorter base molding than the other. About 4 months after completing the bathroom I woke up to a leak. Water was coming from the ceiling down into my laundry room from the bathroom he did upstairs. He told me he couldn't come to fix it but to hire a plumber and he would reimburse us. The plumber came and said everything was done as cheaply as possible. He had to cut out all of the plumbing that Jason did and redo it. He also said the tub drain was done incorrectly and would also need to be changed because it will start to leak if not. So now we have another cost that we have to pay for because Jason didn't know how to do it properly. I sent Jason the price we had to pay for the leak. He ​took months to pay us back and lied frequently about when he was sending us checks. It is 6 months out and the grout on the tile floor is chipping away and the caulk he used in the tub is all peeling away. I sent him pictures of everything and he never even had the decency to respond. His prices may be good which is appealing but it isn't worth it. You'll just have to pay someone who knows what they are doing to replace what Jason does. read more
