I came in by ambulance because of an acute attack of diverticulitis by ambulance. No rooms were available so I was placed on a very comfortable gurney in the hall. The entrance is about 100/150 feet away and today it is 53 degrees. Whenever that door opens a rush of very cold air comes in and adds to an already cold hallway. If they need to put people in the hall don't do it on the entrance path. I was in the hallway approximately 3 hours but my nurse made sure I had a blanket. The CAT scan tech was great too. My suggestion is add on more rooms this is Florida where we old people go to die but not by pneumonia.

Her internal bleeding went undiagnosed for about eight hours despite glaring signs. Once imaging was finally ordered and active internal bleeding was confirmed, surgery was delayed for roughly seven more hours. In the meantime, the doctor ordered mass blood transfusion in an improper way that worsened her condition instead of stabilizing her, while failing to move the central line that was improperly placed and that the radiologist recommended be repositioned. HCA Healthcare has faced no consequences, and there is no way for people researching physicians through the Florida Department of Health (DOH), the medical licensing board, to see what happened to my daughter. Because she was 25, unmarried, and had no children, Florida's 'Free Kill' law strategically blocked me from pursuing legal recourse to ensure the hospital and its physicians are held accountable so the harm does not continue. Dr. Donovan operated on my wrist here, at Trinity Medical Arts Building, in the early morning hours. This is an exceptional facility, with caring staff who know what they are doing. From paperwork, to gown, to survey (I was not awake when Dr. Donovan put a titanium plate and 9 pins in my right wrist), I was treated with compassion and professionalism. When I was awake and coherent, I felt much better. I was in and out in record time. Kudos who helped me prepare for surgery, who assisted Dr. Donovan during surgery, and helped me after surgery so I could return home in record time. I was also impressed when a nurse called me later in the day to inquire about my recovery. My diagnosis, this surgery, and my follow ups with Dr. Donovan were wonderful, and I highly recommend him and this facility!

At the emergency room the Triage nurse demanded she keep her mask on. My wife in tears said she can't breathe. The nurse said mask on or you can leave this hospital now. My wife is on pain management. After not having her medications she started withdraw symptoms . A nurse finally got her meds. She called me today around eleven AM to say she hasn't had any food for 27 hours and each time she tells them they've said the kitchen is closed. Today, still starving they say she can't eat till certain tests are done. Now a nurse says that's unlikely today. Each time she has stated concerns or complaints they have had different people say, " Well you can go home if your not happy ". I have had friends go to this hospital and raved about everything. That's why I convinced her to go to Trinity in New Port Richey. I have been in dozens of hospitals over the years from injuries and have never heard such attitude. What kind of hospital says to a patient, a starving patient, a patient in pain( several surgeries from accidents leaving chronic pain) and under a Florida orthopedic pain management Doctor, laying on a gurney for a dozen hours with no room ready, who voices some concerns and physical complaints, is told repeatedly if you don't want to comply, get your things to be discharged. Now she just called me to say one doctor says we need more tests and now some arrogant " heart" doctoc comes in and says we're just changing your meds. There is no communication at all.

But sometimes, there are mixups. For whatever reason my HSA card wasn't working. I couldn't get a hold of anyone over the phone, so I had to leave with no help. I'd already had a bad migraine for 2 days. This did not help. I'd been there multiple times recently and had no issues with payment. But getting billed was not an option, so zero medical attention for me. I guess it's really not urgent "care." It's more urgent payments, then see what happens. I suppose it's not the biggest deal in the world, but it's very unpleasant when you're already not feeling well. There were other small issues, but nothing as disappointing as today bad experiences.

Even though they were clearly busy, everyone was incredibly kind, efficient, and welcoming. Amy, the NP, was absolutely wonderful -- so professional, compassionate, and thorough. The manager and front desk girls were amazing as well, keeping everything running smoothly and making me feel truly taken care of from the moment I walked in. What really stood out was how well everyone worked together as a team when things got hectic. You could tell they genuinely care about their patients and about supporting each other, and that made a huge difference in my experience. On top of all that, the facility is extremely clean, which always makes me feel even more comfortable and confident in the care I'm receiving. I truly appreciate all of them and highly recommend this urgent care. I will definitely be coming back here in the future if I ever need anything urgent!
