Please read my review in its entirety. I recently suffered from a deadly auto accident in which I was life flighted to level II trauma unit. Before all of this happened, I was told by friends to see a chiropractor because everyone has problems with their spine being misaligned and such. I went to a few different chiropractors over several years only a few times and I honestly thought it was a joke, a voodoo like approach to put a "bandaid" on people with back problems. After my auto accident I went to Premier Chiropractic because of a friend's referral. I had X-rays and all preliminary protocols to ensure the most accurate approach by doctors Ericka and Michael Montelione. Here is where my story gets very interesting, I went to them because I thought it was in my best interest to do so because chiropractic is almost cliche after an auto accident. Yes I had some stuff going on, but it was not severe or unprecedented. Interestingly enough, I have suffered from acid reflux or GERD for many years and would live by antacids and prescribed PPI medication. Prolonged use of these drugs and can have long term consequences so I ceased from using them for several ago. After only two adjustments going to Premier Chiropractic I no longer had acid reflux! Sure I would have a couple of burning moments every now and then but I no longer needed antacids on my nightstand and could eat spicy foods and consume high acid foods as well as imbibe with no problems. Both doctors could see areas in my neck which would cause and promote acid reflux. Case in point, these chiropractors (Ericka and Michael) are not like most others just wanting to address recent falls or MVA's, they are disciplined in the field and realize that no one is born with perfect alignment and this field whether started shortly after birth, late in life or somewhere in between can be a solution that can and will fix problems that would seem implausible by adjusting the neck and spine. I was more than impressed with the staff, the doctors credentials, the process and their desire to help infants all the way to the elderly. In "The Godfather" Michael Corleone says "I'll make them an offer they can't refuse." Dr. Michael (and Ericka) Montelione will "give you an adjustment you can't refuse. I normally only advise others and not recommend but this time I am deviating from the norm; I am recommending that everyone (in the Spring Hill and surrounding areas) whether you think you have problems or not to go see Dr. Ericka and Michael Montelione. They will most definitely change your life in a positive manner. I was only visiting TN for a short while and went for about 12 adjustments or so and it changed my life. If you are local to Spring Hill or the surrounding areas and especially if you have children you are doing them, as well as yourself a great disservice by refraining from scheduling an in person evaluation. I love this place! Everyone is very friendly, and they care for you and getting you better. I came because their ads showed they used techniques l have not had used in Tennessee in the 30 years l have lived here. I moved here from Texas. I started feeling great from my first adjustment, and looked forward to getting back to a normal life. I was rear-ended in a hit and run 3 weeks after starting my treatments, and Premier Chiropractic had to re-assess my spine. This was for my protection, and to be able to bill the insurance from the wreck. I was ready to scream and cry from pain l had from the wreck; l could barely walk when l got in for my re-assessment. After the re-assessment, they went on to do an adjustment; it was like night and day. My excruciating pain was gone! I could walk, and stand up straighter. You have to come to Premier Chiropractic, they can make you start to feel so much better. They even do pregnant ladies, and infants. Believe me, your spine takes messages to and from the brain to keep your body strong and working properly. Even if you aren't in pain, it is worth going here to see where your spine may be having problems. My wife Gwen and I have been going to Premier Chiropractic For over four months. Both Doctors, Michael and Erica perform at the highest professional standard. Their expertise and knowledge is exceptional and we trust them both completely. They are kind and caring always concerned if you have any issues and always address them immediately. We find them also to be very courteous, friendly, approachable kind, respectful. they always take time to listen and talk even with their busy schedule. I have severe degeneration in my back and spine, disc problems and sciatica and arthritis, since being treated at Premier I feel much better, I am not as stiff as I was, I virtually have no pain and I am able to work out, walk my dog I am pretty much not limited to what activities I can do. on a closing note I was taking subscribed medication (Meloxicam) one pill every day, plus Aleve. I now take the Meloxicam two to three times a week and the Aleve rarely. I should note that my Wife Gwen also has improved and feels so much better since treatments began. After my son was born via c-section, we had some difficulty with nursing. Every time I went to feed him he would get really frustrated and seemed uncomfortable. This resulted in us having to syringe feed him for most feedings just so he could eat. At 4 days old we took him to his first adjustment at Premier Chiropractic. When we laid him down to get adjusted he was immediately frustrated, but after Dr. Erika worked with him for a few minutes he became visibly calmer and more relaxed. Once she was done she advised me to nurse him as soon as I could. So I sat in the parking lot in my car and he latched immediately! From that day on my son has only gotten better at latching and feeding and we no longer need to syringe feed him. He doesn't get frustrated or uncomfortable when I'm nursing and is sitting still for full feedings. Premier has a great team of Doctors and staff. I like the Columbia office. Ladies at the front are always warm and welcoming. They have a great waiting area and spots for your kids to entertain themselves for a bit. The Doctors are great. Dr Alexa, Dr Kyle, and Dr Mike do excellent adjustments. I believe Dr Kyle done my first adjustment and I was absolutely flabbergasted. I couldn't believe how good I felt the whole night. I've been going consistently for a few months now and all I can say is wow!!!! I feel better. I wake up better. I sleep better. I'm not quite up to par yet but one thing people need to understand is that you don't get "The Fix" in a few adjustments. You've wrecked your body for years, some decades, and its not going to take a few to get you right. it takes time and healing. We love Premier Chiro! We've been under care for 2 years now. I love that they take x-rays at the beginning of your care plan to see what they need to adjust. Our daughter regained her neck curvature the first year of care. She sleeps much better and rarely wakes in the night now. Our youngest had consistent bedwetting even after being potty-trained. We tried everything. A friend suggested chiropractic care and we've never looked back. When she has her regular adjustment, theres no bedwetting. If we miss her adjustment due to a holiday or vacation, she has an accident or two. We know it works! We've taught our kids when something feels "off" with their bodies and they tell us they need an adjustment. That's priceless. We much prefer proactive care over reactive care. That's true health. First-class Chiropractic experience. It is different, so come in with an open mind! I read some other reviews and I think those clients were used to a "fast food" type Chiropractic process. There are plenty of those facilities out there, but if you are looking for detailed diagnostics, and doctors that care about changing the world and care equally about you and your kids - this is the place. They measure your nerves, and muscles, take X-Rays and even take the time to explain how each of these systems/processes impact one another. I felt like I took an A&P class and it was awesome! Premier has done so much good for our family. My husband dealt with chronic pain for the last several years along with digestion and sleep issues and I've had seasonal allergies and shoulder pain for about 10 years. We have been going to Premier for 3 years now and have seen a total 180 flip on our health in the best way possible. It's been amazing to see how our bodies were meant to function. I don't take Zyrtec or Tylenol anymore and my husband has so much more mobility. Our 9 month old also gets adjusted and is one of the healthiest babies around. I have been adjusted by a lot of chiropractors in my life, the doctors at Premier are the best adjusters I have ever found. Not all chiropractors are the same. The big difference I have seen with this office is the fact that they take the time to review all my x-rays and tell me what it is going to take not just to feel better but actually help resolve the problem. The team is great and friendly. The appointments are quick and efficient, they also have an app which is cool so when I need to R/S or change a visit I can do it on my phone at my convenience which is also nice b/c I have a busy schedule and travel a lot. Before going to Premier Chiropractic I suffered from severe migraines. I averaged 2 to 3 migraines a week. Some migraines would last multiple days. I am currently prescribed 4 medications for my migraines. I have now been with Premier for 3 months. In those 3 months, I have only had 2 migraines. Neither one lasted very long and was able to be treated with minimal medication. My doctor has decided to wein me off one of my medications because I am doing dramatically better. This has changed my quality of life. I am so use to being in constant pain. I am so thankful for them! I have my entire family and extended family going to them now. If you are looking for a Doctor to listen to your problems and then take assessments to diagnose what's going before starting treatment this is your best option. They do not believe in using medication which is a huge plus. I've been going for over 4 years now and refuse to stop going or moving to a different provider. I've never felt like I was being forced into a contract. The office and staff are amazing and very helpful. The building is always clean. I visited both offices. 1 in Springhill and Columbia Tennessee. Having had Chiropractic care from other doctor's year's ago I have a pretty good idea about the practice of Chiropractic. These Doctor's and staff are Wonderful, caring people who are Serious about making sure you not only understand Chiropractic but get the right type of care you need.
