My reasoning for coming is I was having back pains and migraines and I needed relief. Since coming i rarely have back pain and I have headaches not that often but not migraines. Don't waste your time or money this "chiropractic " office is more of a money maker for them and a cattle heard. We felt they are more interested in the money they make then helping or healing, proof is in how long they run a "special for new patients " They actually spend under 5 minutes with you, zero effort to warm muscles, a quick pop in a few places and then send you on your way. However they are quick to bill your insurance and then tell you to sign a " contract " for future treatments that you will need according to them for years. read more

Pros - they know what they're doing and how to do it. They took extra time to go over pricing when I had questions. I've been going for several weeks now (3 times a week). I seem to be getting better. My sciatic nerve pain which was unbearable when I started going has been reduced to just flare up now and then. But, seems to be improving each time I go. This is not an overnight process. Cons - the only con being it is usually very crowded in the lobby. If you are someone who doesn't do well with a large group of people you may need to try somewhere else. All in All, I give them 4.8 stars. Rounded up to 5. No major complaints. I have been going here for a month. I really like going to Premier. I have my favorite chiro but I cannot pick and choose who I want to work on me as it is not how this office works. This is the first time I've gone to a chiropractor in over 10 years. I thought I would go in order to get help with my posture and back pain. I seen that Premier Chiropractic had a tent at Rippavilla's Harvest Festival and was offering $20 exam specials so I thought I'd give them a shot. The moment I first walked into the office for my visit I immediately saw red flags. Customers (I can't call them patients because this isn't a medical profession and these aren't medical professionals) come in to the office and scan cards with barcodes like you would when you go to the gym. There are 3 exam rooms with no doors so you have no privacy. You are called into whatever room becomes available when it's your turn over a loud intercom system. Not a very personal feel to it, if you ask me. The other odd thing about this office was the tour. Why? Just show me where the bathroom is. The office is tiny, I can clearly see where everything is and what's on the walls. I don't know where this trend is coming from but it honestly was very off putting. The last time I was given a tour at a business was when I got an overpriced haircut at a salon. Everyone, from the gentleman at the tent at Rippavilla, to the two receptionists to the lady who conducted my "exam" spoke very, very fast. At times, gasping for breath. I was inundated with a barrage of information from each one of them. I know when I'm being sold to as I've been in sales for over 10 years and this was clearly what was happening. I could tell every time they were trying to gloss over a piece of information because the speed of which they were talking got faster, like when they were trying to push me into paying for a $100 x-ray at the end of my exam. So let's talk about this x-ray because this was the biggest red flag of them all. I went to this exam totally being prepared that I was going to be pushed into buying something. What, I didn't know. I've gone to Vanderbilt and seen an actual doctor, paid for an x-ray and for an x-ray tech to read it and it only cost me $59 without insurance. This office tried pushing me into paying $100 for an x-ray that was totally unnecessary. In fact, this is what the US National Library of Medicine has to say about Chiropractic offices and spinal x-rays: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6247638/ "The use of spinal X-rays in chiropractic has been controversial, with benefits for the use of routine spinal X-rays being proposed by some elements of the profession. However, evidence of these postulated benefits is limited or non-existent. There is strong evidence to demonstrate potential harms associated with spinal X-rays including increased ionising radiation exposure, overdiagnosis, subsequent low-value investigation and treatment procedures, and increased unnecessary costs. Therefore, in the vast majority of cases who present to chiropractors, the potential benefit from spinal X-rays does not outweigh the potential harms. Spinal X-rays should not be performed as a routine part of chiropractic practice, and the decision to perform diagnostic imaging should be informed by evidence based clinical practice guidelines and clinician judgement." What is especially concerning is that they REQUIRE an x-ray before you get looked at by the actual chiropractor. This office touts heavily the fact that they treat babies as young as newborns, children, and pregnant women, all of whom are required to get this unnecessary x-ray. Radiation anyone? When the speil was over and I began asking questions, it was clear to me they weren't concerned with actually fixing my problems, they were only interested in having me sign up for however many "adjustments" was needed. I've gone to the facebook page and google reviews to read what others had to say. Both places show nearly 5 star reviews and I noticed something; many people have been going FOR YEARS. If you are that dependent on chiropractic services then that alone proves they don't fix anything, they only make you feel good, for approximately $35 an "adjustment". You know what will fix my back pain and posture? Doing exercises to strengthen the muscles that are working so hard to keep my spine straight. You know what will help my knee pain? Losing weight. Losing 10 pounds alone will take 40 pounds of pressure off your knees. Anyone who cannot perform an adjustment WITHOUT use of imaging, whether it be x-rays, thermal scans or the muscle tension scans, doesn't need to be doing this at all. read more

First off let me say the manager of this establishment is VERY knowledgeable and is eager to help in any situation as to why I give this one star. I would give no stars but yelp doesn't allow that. So the manager deserves this one star. However, it feels as though this place just wants our money.. We were very concerned for our sons wellbeing due to his health (he is 6 months old with really bad acid reflex). After doing everything on the medical side (meds and formula changes) we wanted to try the "holistic" approach with chiropractic care. I had mentioned his issue more than once with both Dr. Erica and Dr. Kyle. Dr. Kyle seemed the most concerned about his issue that came about during the care. I mentioned to him of my son no longer rolling anymore and he was both confused and seemed to care the most about why his milestones were going backwards, but didn't really offer any suggestions or to stop him getting adjusted. So I just continued. After a couple of visits of not rolling, our son started screaming a lot during the night which was not normal. Also mentioned this and the concern was there from Dr. Kyle but not Dr. Erica. When I mentioned the no rolling anymore and the screaming she became to be super defensive stating that chiropractic care would never set him back in his milestones.. (along those lines). I don't remember the exact conversation, but she was zero help. Ended up seeing TWO GI specialists to where our son ended up getting some scans and there was no signs of hernias (as Dr. Erica said that there may be one since her magical adjustments weren't helping). We just will not be going back knowing that this place has Doctors that seem to only want to adjust, get their money, and see the next person. If you have a baby please don't go here. My husband had to go in and talk to the manager to end the care and express the concerns we had. He mentioned what I have told him (after every visit I call to update and tell him what the doctor have said), that our son no longer has any want to roll over anymore, etc and the manger brought it to Dr. Ericas attention and then she stated I never expressed those concerns. Sad to also see her lying to cover her own ass.. ? I do NOT recommend this place of business whatsoever. Save your money and find somewhere else that cares about your well-being! read more

Worst chiropractor experience. After 8 visits and hundreds of dollars My back is still in pain. Dr Ericka adjusted my neck and I couldn't turn it to drive for a week. It is also very Gimicky and you have to have a payment plan so beware! You wait for at least 20 minutes to be seen and you go into a room where other patients can clearly see your exam. The dr comes in for about a minute and barely adjust you cold and on to the next. I requested not to be seen by Erika and they complied for a few visits and then she appeared again without talking to me first. I regret ever going there and now I have to make continued payments for terrible care. read more

This review is based on the two times I have even been inside this building and engaged with their staff. I went in last night to speak with the chiropractor about my x-rays and they sold me on the fact that my nervous system/spine did need some work and adjustments and it was better to do it now than it was to wait. I go into the situations as a complete skeptic with 1000 questions and I need to be convinced that I'm not wasting my money. I have to say at the end of our meeting/consultation I did proceed with signing up for the number of chiropractic appointments they suggested I needed. I had my very first adjustment after my consultation last night and I was super nervous but somehow when I was laying on the table and the chiropractor was adjusting my body around it felt great and the nervousness I felt soon dissipated. The best feeling was after she cracked my neck there was a feeling of euphoria because I no longer felt my neck because my neck has always hurt so I assumed that was how all next must feel. I'm sure it will take a while for that nervousness to totally dissipate. I signed up for 52 treatments and they were more than willing to run and use my insurance to subset the cost. I've done some form of Chiropractic care all my life, so when my boyfriend told me that someone did a presentation at his work and he booked us an appointment at a Chiropractic office an hour away (1.5 hours in traffic) from our home I thought we would just go to get the scans and X-rays but never thought we would make a commitment to make this our regular office. Within 2 visits, you can tell how seriously they take the term "doctor" as "teacher". Even as knowledgeable as I thought I was about chiropractic care, I came out of the office with a whole new vocabulary; not just about chiropractic care but the body and health in general. This doctors office will improve your health not only through adjustments but through education. This is why I choose to wake up at 5am twice a week to make a 3 hour round trip before work, and don't mind paying more than what I was paying at the Joint. Despite going to the Joint once a week for years, I still experienced pain. And when I saw my x rays and scans, it was clear that I needed a more personalized treatment plan with Doctors who take the time to look at each patient individually and cater the adjustment specially to them. I not only get better adjustments, but every doctor there spends additional time talking with you and provide additional resources to look into. After signing up, waiting for a class a week, signing an expensive treatment plan, the adjust was a total let down. All the other Chiro's I have been to used more and better equipment.
