However due to mechanical errors we were unable to take it. They were able to help and give us a 10 person boat instead. We went to the dock to get shown the boat. We then got in the boat and noticed a handful of issues not enough life jackets, trim gauge broken, fire extinguisher not mounted correctly and other issues. Keagen was cavalier about our safety questions and referred to us as crappy customers and threatened to have us kicked off the boat when we raised our concerns. When we got on the water we ran into some mechanical issues with the acceleration sputtering. However with these issues we pressed on. When we dropped the boat off we treated childishly where we were dismissed about our issues. We then left and were on our way. Would not rent here as the product we received was bad and the service was worse.

So, of course we can't use the golf cart rental. South Haven is full of tourists, all golf carts are reserved, there is no way this golf cart would not be rented sometime during the weekend. They refused to refund our money, so we're out over 300.00 for three days of cart rental. I have owned a business...I would never treat a customer like that. This just shows you what kind of owners this business has. Go somewhere else where they'll treat your fairly.

During this time, we've been stay here at Sharp Park Campground. Diana, Jess and Val have all been extremely welcoming and never once did our family feel that we were camping rather, we felt as if we were "home" and felt like we became part of the family there. The reservation process was very easy and we were even able to take our little dog on the boat with us! The 3 of us enjoyed a nice, relaxing ride with pretty scenery and beautiful weather. The employees are friendly and helpful and gave us easy to follow instructions. The ride takes about 1 1/2 hours from start to finish. The boat does not go much over 5 mph and is pretty easy to maneuver. I would definitely recommend this if you are looking for a fun, leisurely way to spend an hour or two. We even saw a few turtles!

The boat itself is a beauty and so eye catching. It was my husband's birthday so we brought along our daughter and her boyfriend to help us celebrate. We could've purchased from their wide variety of beverages (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) but we were too excited to get the show on the road. The young lady provided us with instructions on where we could boat around and what the general etiquette is on the lake. Everything went off without a hitch and we got the boat back right on time. The people running the facility were very helpful and friendly. We did get an adult beverage before our launch. They have a wonderful bar area you can sit and watch the boats go by while you wait for your turn! Overall a wonderful experience!

The staff seems very competent, and our trip - with seats reserved in a shaded portion of the upper deck - was very good. A couple factors contributed to making the experience less satisfying than I preferred. First - and admittedly knowing nothing about the costs of this business model - I notice that pricing seemed significantly higher compared to similar cruises in other places I've visited. Second, and a real downer for suburbanite John H., Saugatuck street parking on a summer weekend is a nightmare comparable to a large city. You might prefer to find the interurban shuttle or arrange a dropoff to ease the stress. After all, a boat ride like this is supposed to fun, right?

He also was friendly and answered all the questions we had about sailing! The sailboat is study and clean but not necessarily luxurious. We went on a 2 hour trip and the waves were about 2 feet high and it was around 65 degrees and sunny. I'm glad I brought a sweater and sunglasses- it's always colder on the water than in town. Don't worry about bringing food and drinks on the 2 hour trip- it would be hard to eat with the waves. Tip: bring Dramamine and eat something small and simple beforehand. But don't worry, the guys do have bags in case you get sick

If NOAA and city communicated incorrectly, business should have a conversation with them. After we were able to rent paddle boards we did enjoy using them for the full time we rented them.
