Alex and Zach are exceptional and go above and beyond for their patients. They are extremely knowledgeable about head injuries and use cutting edge treatments. Alex also makes himself available via text and call after hours to make sure his patients are taken care of. My one complaint is that when scheduling, nobody informed me that I would be seeing Zach for my second week of treatment after starting with Alex. Both providers were excellent but I felt like some details of my treatment plan may have been lost in switching providers. That being said, I would still very highly recommend this clinic for anyone with a concussion or similar injury. They are by far the best I've seen. read more

After what was supposed to be a routine hip replacement and then 5 more repairs one after another, decreasing my flexibility and ability to walk, which added up to 9 years of struggle to do anything, I am feeling better after 3 sessions. I brought one of my children in for a sports injury which was quite severe. Dr. Gometz and his team gave him top notch care, including his cell phone due to the severity. Over the months, Dr. Gometz and his team worked with my child and using incredible new technology mixed with older methods, brought my son back to health. The staff were upbeat but professional and brilliant at what they do (and I come from a family of neurologists and medical professionals). I can say that Dr. Gometz managed the conversations with the school, helped my son with guidelines for his long term care and today we are lucky to have the best results thanks to Dr. Gometz. We are incredibly grateful to him as parents. When I would bring my son in, we were taken into a private room, but would see healthy people of all ages there, in the main external spaces, just working to get fitter and stronger with his medical staff. read more

I have been seeing Arsen at Prehab since I injured myself in July. Not only has he treated me for my injury, he has worked with me to increase my strength to ensure it doesn't happen again. After the time I've spent at Prehab I feel much stronger and have a better understanding of my injury and how to avoid it from happening again. The facility is clean and filled with all different types of equipment including a Pilates reformer. They offer classes as well, like Yoga. Care: I went in to Prehab for a calf strain, having never had to go to physical therapy before. This place is the best, I've successfully rehabilitated two injuries, working with the whole team. Arsen was an immense source of knowledge and very thorough in his investigation of the injuries. I went to PreHab specifically to take advantage of the new yoga therapy they have on offer and was very pleased with my experience. Jin, the resident yoga therapist, is very knowledgeable about the body and how to use yoga to alleviate my persistent lower back pain. We worked through a series of stretches and poses to compose a program that I can do at home each day to keep my back stretched out and well aligned. PreHab's focus is fixing problems before they get worse or become chronic. Yoga therapy is a great addition to the traditional PT programs. The yoga therapy room is small but functional and the overall space is very nice, clean lines and lots of great equipment. Jin also incorporates some breathing and mindfulness activities, which are great for settling the mind and readying the body for realignment and therapeutic exercises. Highly recommend! read more

Came in with a chronic back condition and my muscles were in a spasm. Arsen was amazing and able to fit me in last minute, which helped give me immediate relief from my back pain. A hidden gem on the ues. I stumbled across prehab as a fluke through class pass. This little oasis has a clean, sleek facility with comprehensive services and impressive equipment. As a frequent flier in PT, prehab surpasses other facilities. Sessions are scheduled 1 on 1 for the full hour. Annie at the front desk is friendly and accommodating. It was a gift to be scheduled with Arsen for my initial consult who became my designated PT-he is caring, knowledgeable and patient. I appreciate that he takes a unique and collaborative approach as well as flexibility to meet me where I'm feeling that day including unplanned injuries that's popped up along the way. I have been a patient at Dr. Alex Gometz's clinic for over 2 years. I first came in with a rotator cuff tear and most recently a herniated disc in my lower back. The clinic is beautiful, always immaculately clean, and has all brand new state of the art equipment to work with. Most importantly, the care that the staff and physical therapists provide is the best in NYC! I am 29 and very active so both these injuries (1 year apart) were a huge setback in both my work (as a dog walker) and personal life as my pain was so debilitating and affecting my quality of life. My shoulder was rehabbed and back to normal range of motion just in a few short months! When I inured my back, I did not hesitate return to Prehab as my first choice. From my first point of contact with Caitlin at the front desk, I am always greeted with a smile and accommodated with my crazy work schedule. My therapist Lauren, who worked with me on a regular basis, is fantastic! She really knows how to tailor her program to every patient's individual needs. While I am there I see how other patients with the same injuries are doing different routines than I am. Her massages have also brought me great relief while I was in the most intense pain of my injury. I have also worked with the other therapists one on one, and the team is really the best of the best! I came in for a yoga therapeutics session with Jin and got an enjoyable and thorough yoga therapy session dedicated to exactly what I needed to work on. Jin's knowledge of yogic movement, postures, breathing techniques, and how it all applies to physical ailments is vast, and she shows her knowledge through the way she warmly explains and delivers a comprehensive session. Yoga can be intimidating, but Jin is a warm, compassionate, and supportive individual who makes it a point to be there with me as I was going through the movements and postures. Three members of my family (18 year old, 43 year old and 85 year old) received treatment at different times at Prehub. Conditions treated were: shoulder injury (frozen shoulder), knee injury (patellar dislocation), and acute lower back/leg pain due to the nerve inflammation. Prehab is an exceptional facility with the highest quality of care! Alex and his team have helped me tremendously in my recovery from a severe concussion.
