I relied on that agreement and paid the balance in full. Before making the payment, I specifically communicated multiple times where and how the remaining security deposit needed to be sent. I was assured each time that the funds would be sent to me. Despite this, the company ultimately sent the security deposit to the wrong person. When I brought the mistake to their attention, instead of correcting the issue, I was told that it was my responsibility to resolve the situation with the person who incorrectly received the funds. This is completely unacceptable, especially considering I fulfilled my end of the agreement based on the property manager's assurances. This issue, along with several other major problems I experienced during my time with this company, has made this one of the worst rental experiences I've ever had (6 months without a washer, slow maintenance, unresponsive staff). Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend that prospective tenants thoroughly research this company before trusting them with their money or choosing them as a rental property manager.

This was especially frustrating because we had the gutters professionally cleaned before moving out and submitted the receipt as part of a formal dispute. Despite months of calls and emails, we received no response or resolution. We also emailed and left voicemails for the Principal Broker, Lyndi Morrone, and never received a call back, which felt extremely unprofessional. The property owner was unaware of the dispute and indicated that RPM manages the security deposit without keeping owners informed. Based on this experience, I do not recommend renting from this company.
