Daniel's brother helped service a slow draining kitchen sink issue. Previously we tried a bunch of…read moredraino and hot water but still had an issue later on. So we called a professional. Given his stellar 5-star reviews we felt comfortable hiring F1. His quote was reasonable and though he wasn't available to come immediately, only a few days later. We originally agreed for him to visit on Friday but somehow he or his bro made a mistake and visited on Thursday, when no one was home at that time he came. He did come back on Friday at our scheduled time and fix the issue with the electric power snake. I wasn't present when he did it but someone else was in my place. He also didn't send a follow up text to tell me it's fixed, diagnoses, photos or how to prevent it. But at the same time, he's also patient and didn't ask me to pay until I prompted him several hours later asking about the status of the job. I suppose he's a busy man! Communication could be better, just keep in mind you may have to prompt him again to get your receipt later. What's important is that it's fixed and working properly.

Contacted Daniel to replace my kitchen sink and toilet almost 3 years ago. I purchased them before…read morehe arrived so that it was a smooth service. He offered fast, friendly, and affordable service! Some things I learned: I noticed he didn't caulk the new toilet and after asking, he advised that high rise don't allow that in the gta. He also advised that the kitchen sink was incorrectly installed by the former condo owner. He did a great job replacing it and removing as much of the incorrect caulk/glue as he could. We had to get rid of the old toilet ourselves but I think that's built into the cost since I was quoted at least $40 more by other plumbers who offered that service. Overall, I recommend Daniel's plumbing services. The sink and toilet are still working great.

I've been using this plumbing service for almost 20 years. As our house is aging it needs more and…read moremore repairs. Last Thursday I found that two toilet bowls were not working properly that could cause me the next bill higher for sure. Due to this pandemic situation I couldn't even hope that my call to Bruce Clark & Son would be answered. Thank's God, the service was available and this family business was operating as usual. So, I was so happy to see Corey next Friday morning. As usual he was very efficient and fixed both toilet bowls in a half an hour. Also, he noticed a small leak in the washing room and fixed that as well. As for the bill I must say it was more than absolutely fair. Honestly, I expected it to be higher and I wouldn't mind. These days, when we all are so nervous and depressed due to Covid-19, such reliable and fair businesses like Bruce Clark and Son do give a hope that everything will be okay. My special thanks to Corey who is not only a highly experienced and efficient plumber but a very nice, honest and friendly person as well.

I hired Bruce Clark and Son for a major bathroom renovation. It was a costly decision that I…read morequickly came to regret. Being a bit of a handyman myself, I'm aware renovations don't always go smoothly, however many of the mistakes made during ours were simply amateurish and sloppy. For example: - installing a marble window jamb in bathtub area with the UNFINISHED side facing out (even though there was a large sticker on this side, which they couldn't even be bothered to take off). - installing visibly chipped and uneven tiles in the bathtub area. - marble jambs surrounding bathroom window and niche do not line up evenly - having to cut a huge (approximately 2 sq ft) hole in newly installed drywall (which I paid $400 for!) because no one had the foresight to line up the existing plumbing with the new vanity/sink. Fortunately, the vanity had a backer board, but I'm still left with a huge, unnecessary hole behind it. And these guys are supposed to be plumbers?! - having to cut large holes in the same newly installed and finished drywall because new bathroom fan wasn't properly wired. Problem was corrected after "Jeff", who was clearly older and more experienced than those who performed most of the work on our bathroom, was brought in. - tub faucet not flush with wall. Had to use silicone to bridge gap. - wall studs surrounding tub should have been shimmed or sistered before putting up cement backer boards as unevenness caused boards to warp. Then there were the annoying things, such as: - Losing my house key and failing to inform my wife and me. Instead, we came home to find our house unlocked. I ended up having to change the lock. - Somehow a large red bucket disappeared after owner said one of his workers "cleaned it". - Failing to use plumber's tape around the shower head. Had to apply and tighten shower head myself because it was leaking. Easy fix, but this is Plumbing 101. - silicone caulk in right-hand corner of bathtub wall niche (located opposite tub faucet) extended more than 1" beyond the grout line. I'm not talking about a small bead, but an area approximately 1.5" square! Also, why silicone the grout on the right side of the niche (the side least likely to get wet) and not the other three sides? - spent considerable time scraping and wiping excess grout off bathtub tiles. I have had two different tile companies do work at my house, and both did a MUCH neater job. - installing the toilet seat without bothering to take off the toilet bowl sticker first. Had to remove and reinstall seat myself. - leaving a two-inch cutting blade angled up on a towel in the bedroom hall area, where a child or someone could have seriously cut themselves. The blade was partly covered by the towel. Luckily, I saw it first. - left side of new vanity counter-top was not shimmed. Had to shim myself. - nicked new acrylic tub. Add careless to sloppy. - left renovation debris and old bathroom mirror sitting in my garage for several weeks after repeatedly promising to pick up. - frequently missed or late for appointments... Things got so bad that I ended up doing some of the finishing work (installing vanity knobs, caulking, etc.) myself as I no longer trusted their workmanship. I even had to re-secure the bathroom exhaust ducting in my attic as it had come loose and was venting into the attic. Had I gone with some fly-by-night or unlicensed company, I would mostly have myself to blame, however Bruce Clark & Son was the most expensive of the companies I considered. I recently came across a similar horror story involving the same company, so it appears my situation is not unique.
