I swear this is the only place in the valley that grooms cats besides an actual vet clinic! Our…read morepoor long hair kitten shed all of his kitten fur and winter fur all at the same time. While also rolling in the hay, his long fur became too hard to keep up with. She books out quite a ways but she takes her time and makes sure the animal is well taken care of. She is amazing!! We will forever go to her!

But 3 o'clock hit and I had things to do so I went to pick my dogs up at 3:45 and she told me my dogs weren't ready because my whoodle kept pooping everytime she left her to attend another dog. Which didn't really make sense to me If she knew she was having accidents why did she keep leaving? (My whoodle was fine and had no accidents after we left) So I told her I needed to leave by 4:20 and she didn't come out until 4:55 At that point I was already waiting an hour and I had to be somewhere by 5 which I let her know ahead of time. She told me all the dogs did fine except for my whoodle. When I go to check out my total is $175 for three dogs. I asked for a basic groom for my pug. My corgi I asked for a deshed and dental. All I asked was to round my corgis butt. As for my whoodle she said she couldn't do much with my whoodle because it was her first time and she had to introduce her to the clippers and that all she could do was her face. Which is all she did. My total was $175 and I was charged a $15 dollar hard to handle fee for my whoodle as well as a $10 hard to handle fee for my pug which she didn't mention until I was checking out after she said all the dogs did great except for the whoodle. I didn't really have time to go over my receipt or my charges just because I was already extremely late to where I was supposed to be. I messaged her and asked for a detailed receipt and she said she would send me one if I added my email which I did but I still have received a detailed receipt. I am also not trying to be mean or attack the owner but you could tell she smoked cigarettes and the smell was very strong. I have nothing against people who smoke but I do have asthma and that's all I could smell. I do not mind spending that much money on my dogs but $175 when only one of my dogs got a deshed and trim on his butt and dental. And the other two basically just got a wash. She also told me if I wanted to use a higher clipper guard for my whoodle that it was going to be extra. There are a lot of extra fees I've never really heard of before. I usually take my dogs to Stylin Pets but they have been so busy so I decided to try and new place and honestly it was not worth it for having to wait 8 hours and the price.

One of the best things about PetSmart is that dogs are allowed. My two cute dogs sometimes like to…read morego to the store. However, I would never buy most of the things for sale at PetSmart. Let's consider: Dog food: Overpriced. Today a customer in front of me paid way too much for a bag of Science Diet, which is garbage. Costco's Kirkland brand is higher quality and much cheaper. They even have grain-free varieties at Costco for a very reasonable price. Dog treats: CRAZY overpriced. Cheaper to make my own or make a trip to Trader Joe's. Dog toys: Freakin' expensive. Why pay $16 for a toy my dog is going to tear apart in less than a week? There are some durable toys available (I recommend the Kong treat dispensing toy), but they're few and far between. Well-made toys are definitely worth the money. PetSmart has a clearance section I visit when looking to replenish our toy supply, and I've found some real treasures there. Petsmart is a good place for new pet owners to stock up on supplies while they're becoming oriented to pet ownership. PetSmart has an adequate selection of collars, bowls, poop bags, and kennels. I'd skip the ID tags and find something cuter, cheaper, and better made on Etsy, but PetSmart is capable of supplying these as well. Today I was there to purchase some rubber Chuck-It balls, and my experience was good until I got to the cash register. When the system prompted me to enter my personal information for a Pet Perks card, I told the cashier I would rather not, but he made me anyway. Thanks, buddy. Anyway -- PetSmart has everything you need for your dog, cat, fish, reptile, bird, or rodent, if you're willing to pay for it.
