Day one of new construction is a bug infested spider breeding ground but it wasn't long after our initial treatment everything started to reduce population. If we do see a bug it's dead so it works and as we thought moving into bug city Premium Pest came out once per our request and that was the last time we had to call outside of scheduled service. 12 months in we have normal bugs but barely. Dealing with Arrow Exterminators (now Stark Exterminators) was like being in a bad organized crime…read moremovie! One year ago we paid Arrow exterminators (now Stark Exterminators) to install sentricon termite stations. Last month, we came home one day to find that Arrow Exterminators had inspected my property outside without contacting us. Shortly thereafter we started receiving phone calls -- at least 30 calls! They called trying to set up an appointment to inspect the interior of the house and extend our protection a year for $275. After researching the value of the sentricon system we decided not to renew the coverage and we told them so on the phone. Then it all started. We found the company and their employees to be rude and aggressive. They continued to have different people call. The manager even stopped by unannounced and asked where the nice lady he met last year was. They were trying to bully us into continuing with them. I told him not to bother us no more. About two weeks later the manager sent an employee to remove the stations. Stark Exterminators claimed that the stations belonged to them which was not stated on the contract copy they left us. The manager never called to discuss the stations with us --he just sent someone to remove them. We told the employee that he did not have our permission to be on the property. After a few words he did in fact leave. I came home 4 days later to find a different employee in my back yard removing the stations. This employee had a black trash bags filled with about 18 stations. I told him that he had opened our gate and was in our back yard without our permission. He held up a piece of paper that he said I signed stating the stations belonged to the company but he would not show it to me and refused to leave until I called 911. This man was physically aggressive towards me using poor language. He finally left just before the police arrived, taking the 18 stations with him. The police informed me that I should have called the week before because this would have been criminal trespassing. Even more shocking is the fact that this week I received a bill from Stark Exterminators claiming I owe them $275--after the way they conducted themselves do they really think I am going to continue business with them?
