Since my trailblazer was not fix by what Precision Auto Tune had done after they said they fixed all the issues. First of all either no tune up was done or they did not know what they were doing. Cylinder 6 coil was not working at all. Making only 5 cylinders running which should of stopped the tune up. You all replaced the coil only after the mechanic noticed the computer code after all the work was done that Cylinder 6 was not working. Then the very last thing Precision Auto Tune did was replace the Cylinder coil. So no tune up could of been done or was done after the coil was put in. I watched this with my own eyes. Also I should of been told from the start how much the oil pump replacement cost and work was. Then the sensor that I was told that needed replaced. It did not need replaced. So Precision Auto Tune replaced a part that did not need replacement. Precision Auto Tune told me it was then the oil pump that needed replaced for 2400 dollars. I had lost all trust in them. I talk with other mechanics around town and looked it up for myself. It is a known issue for Vortec engines. It is a problem with the Oil pickup tube getting air in it once the engine is hot. I got estimates for this which was all around 1,000 dollars. It is only 3 bolts to replace this and a 45 dollar part. So I will just do it myself. But as they could not do a Tune up on an engine only running on 5 out of 6 cylinders and the sensor they replaced was working properly that they replaced and they are suppose to be the experts at 200 an hour. I asked for my money back because they could not of done the Tune up and the sensor that they said fixed the truck did not fix the truck. Any court and mechanic hearing this will know I am right and asking for what is fair. This is a open and shut hands down case against Precision Auto Tune. read more

I received Excellent Service at this location. The staff were friendly and helpful, and as a woman I came to feel very confident that I wouldn't be taken advantage of. In fact, I bought my car in because it wouldn't start, I received a call the next day letting me know that my gas tank was completely empty. LOL! I was mortified, but more so amazed that they didn't take advantage of the situation. They charged me a small fee for labor when I picked my car up and they added gas to the tank so I could fill it up at the nearest gas station! I was flabbergasted after all the bad experiences with car shops and I was enormously grateful. These are wonderful people!!!!! read more

I called to see what time they take their last oil change appointment- which the answer was they close at 6 pm. I went there a few hours before that time and saw very little activity in the bays. I presented a coupon from their website for an oil change discount to $29. The young tech took my coupon and presented it to the mgr. The mgr said that they can't honor it because they don't have the synthetic blend and a true synthetic oil is $80. I said ok and started to leave- he asked me if I wanted an oil change anyway. I said you are surrounded by competitors who offer coupons that they honor. Why would I? So I called another location of this same company- they said please come to our location and we will honor the offer- they were so helpful and nice and I can't wait to go back to 9 mile location. read more

I cannot speak highly enough of these people. Mike and Bradley took care of us quickly, efficiently and effectively. Stayed in communication with us throughout the entire process. Mike even took extra time and care to simply clean out an area of my engine that was getting clogged because of dust and dirt. Brought my truck in to have A/C fixed they said I needed a full replacement involving compressor, dryer, hoses, etc. I pick my truck up and it blew cold for 8 months (their warranty is over after 12 months) i'll remind you i just paid 1,500$ for all this to be done. Fast forward to it blowing warm again after 8 months I take it back they say they couldn't find any issues and were going to recharge my system due to them thinking they just didn't fill it to correct freon level. Guess what? It lasts 8 months and then goes hot. This time I bring it back about same issue they claim my warranty is expired and its probably a bad compressor that they installed but I will have to pay a full $1,000 re-do it. They are a corporate company who couldn't care less about people but just want their money. Take your vehicles to a local shop and do not EVER take your vehicle here to be worked on unless you enjoy being scammed. read more

I came in a couple of days ago because my car was leaking oil due to the oil pan drain hole threads being worn and broken so the drain plug was loose. I had been using a sealant to stop the leak for the past few months and it worked well, but when I went to change the oil again a couple days ago, the oil change technicians said I should take it in to Precision Tune Auto Care to see what they can do, as other auto repair places had previously told me I needed to put in a new oil pan, with some estimates as high as $1,500 to do the entire job (apparently my Honda CR-V's oil pan is situated in a place that requires a lot of time and labor to remove and replace). Eventually, I was told, I would have to replace the oil pan. Mike McCoy, the Manager at Precision Tune Auto Care recommended we put in a oil drain plug that was longer, because it was only the threads in the front that were worn, but the threads in the back were okay. So, for about a $10 new drain plug, it seems to be working fine now, with not a single drop of leaking oil the past couple days. Whether or not it will last as a solution remains to be seen, but I am happy with it so far, especially in light of the alternative of replacing the entire oil pan. The main thing is that Mike was not trying to make easy money by immediately telling me to get a new oil pan, unlike all the other repair technicians who immediately said I needed one without offering a simple and inexpensive solution. I am going to take my car to Precision Tune Auto Care from now on because I feel like they have integrity and that is something that seems to be rare today. read more

Been using them for a couple of years now. They've done work on 2 different vehicles; new h2o pump/timing belt, engine coil replacement and oil changes. I've had absolutely no issues with their work. They're always nice and easy to deal with and explain what they're gonna do and how much it will cost. I'll continue going until they give me a reason not to but as of now I highly recommend them. I have a 1999 Dodge Ram Van 2500 and had a serpentine belt go out RIGHT in front of Precision, so I thought this is my best option... Immediately, I first spoke with Mike and he was No BS; he informed me that they'd do a diagnostic and can replace the belt for $120. So I went ahead and had them replace it. After Two hours, Mike called and informed me the van was complete. After a couple hours of driving it, that New serpentine belt broke and went out, again. So I called my Mike - he said to bring it back ASAP and let them look at it and put a Higher Quality belt on at no cost due to the warranty. I had it towed early the next morning and was not present with the vehicle; Mike and the Precision team has no issues with finding they keys and diagnosing it again at no cost. They also found my Tension Pulley locked up and failing, so I decided to put a new one on the van for $145. The van performed beautifully for about Two Weeks and then AGAIN, the new serpentine belt went out and broke. So I called up Mike and had it towed back to Precision. THIS TIME - they found the actually causality which was my Water Pump Pulley was sporadically locking up. This could NOT have been detected earlier as it was not consistently locking up until finally it failed completely. They identified the issue and quoted me $320 TOTAL for a new Water Pump Pulley, Serpentine Belt, and Labor...so I said hell yeah, that would be splendid! Their Lead mechanic ended up investing 6 HOURS OF LABOR fixing my van that time because they had to drop the radiator, drain the A/C, and hen replace the Pulley and Belt...so they ended up adding an A/C Flush and Fill for FREE (due to the nature of the repairs) which was an added $80 BONUS! So - ALL IN ALL - I highly recommend Precision Auto Team due to their high quality and highly competitive rates! Actually, my van JUST had another problem so I will be adding to this review as I will need to take it in AGAIN (unrelated to the above repairs) to get fixed. Ha-Ha! The work performed was acceptable. The manager was unprofessional (started to cuss on the middle of the conversation) when confronted with a high bill for fixing an AC system. Bill came out to over $450 for 1.5 hrs of work where only a few o-rings were changed and AC serviced, not a major job. Plus, I was overcharged for servicing the system, acknowledged by the regional manager. RM offered an oil change for my dissatisfaction. Here are two ways this business (plus manager) can offer better service: 1. Be professional, don't argue with customers and be respectful with them-they bring you in more work. 2. Offer them a partial refund and work with them on any problem. Office manager compared his services to what a doctor does and charges, ha. Bottom line, if you take care of every customer you will have more business than you can ask for because word of mouth is the best advertisement. read more

Just took my 11 Jeep Grand Cherokee to have brakes put on it, and I had worn these brakes down ALOT I called around to places all over Pensacola to get prices and Precision was by far the cheapest. For the amount of work that had to be done on my vehicle the price really wasn't that bad. The gentleman who did my quote for the brakes was super friendly and helpful, and the gentleman (wish I could remember names) who did the actual work was very knowledgable and very nice and explained everything that I needed to be aware of. I have been going to these morons for months trying to find out why my engine light keeps coming on. I would spend all day and a couple hundred dollars for them to "fix" it just to have it come back on a few days later. I finally got fed up and took my vechicle to a dealership and they are having to go back and redo everything precision tune had done because they didn't fix the actual problem and that in turn has caused more problems. I was working out of town so my wife went in because of a warning light (low tire pressure) and walked out $283.00 later. Oil change (with the wrong oil), coolant flush, brake fluid flush, air induction cleaning. None of which was needed. I'm reporting to the BBB and will be in their shop everyday, in front of other customers, until I get a refund. Everyone I know will hear about these crooks. They do usually give recommendations on future maintenance for your vehicle but they do not pressure you or make you feel uncomfortable. They are informative and honest as it gets. read more
