Had battery and oil change. Simple lead acid battery that retails for $205. Was there around 45 minutes. BILL WAS $765!!! Labor charge was based on a rate of $320 per hour. I came to this shop with a clanking noise in my suspension. Paid over $100 to get it checked out. I was told it would be $170 to get it fixed. I asked Jamie if it would he could guaranteed me or at least make sure that that was the problem since I'm on a tight budget. He told me that he's been doing this for 10+ years and that he was sure. In a he morning I Brought my car in for a brake line leak and for an oil change. I was told I would receive a call that afternoon with a diagnosis. I waited til almost closing for the call and then called them. I was told it was on the lift and they would call me in the morning. I waited til noon then called them. I was told the boss was out right then and he would call me back. No call. I went in the next morning to see what was up. My car was sitting in the parking lot UNLOCKED, and no work done. I went inside and explained my lack of communication frustration to the boss and he said if you don't like it you can just pick up your car. So I did! We moved to the Pensacola area in march. They have ripped us off twice. We had the brakes done and they were grinding again in less than three months. The only way the would warrant the brakes was by getting the calipers fixed with them. They then did not tighten down the hoses properly. we had to take our car to another shop when they would not fix the problem. Don't waste your time or money at this business. read more

I came in due to a low coolant light. They did a pressure check which returned back with no leak. They just topped it off and sent me on my way. However, I told the receptionist I had added water to my coolant so the water/antifreeze ratio was way off. For them to just top off the coolant (passed the max line) and not clear the old coolant cause a layered effect. Which had green coolant/water mixture at the bottom of a blue top off. While I'm told coolant is pretty interchangeable, I would've preferred a job done correctly with correct products read more

Went there to have my heater coil replace they did something to my air conditioning had to pay another 300.00 dollars on top of the thousands the day after picking up my car (after the heater coil) my driver's side window fell into the the cars door and that's not the worst part when they removed my dash the broke the piece that goes around the radio, my automatic lights don't come on anymore and I went to the store and the handle that you use to put your car in gear completely disengaged from the mechanism that puts your car in part..I had to have it towed to another garage to have it repaired...I could go on and on about their lack of customer service.. If I could rate it a zero I would. The Navy Blvd. location is the worst. It was about year ago we took our care there for them to give us an estimate. When they contacted us they told us it was going to be over $10K. We obviously do not have that kind of cash. They recommended their cc. We had them run it and they said we were approved. We were getting ready to go out of town and they would work on it while we were away. When we returned they told me they had completed all of the work and the cc we applied for was only approved for $400...not $10K. Because the work was done we had to come up with this money. We would have figured something else out and they should not have told us the full amount was approved. They only thing they did for us was take $100 off and took some of the parts back. We still had to pay $6500. read more

Take my truck in for AC repair. The previous repair was out of warranty but was now in for the third time so was told they would fix it under warranty. Over 19 calendar days later and me asking over and over again what was going on, and why my truck was not there one day when I randomly stopped by. There were so many excuses as to why they couldn't figure it out. After 19 days, I pick it up. It's been taken off-road and has 2" of mud, grass and red clay on it, as well as little white pebbles in the tires. I have a gravel driveway. The side walls of the tires were covered in dirt. My toolbox had been gone through and tools were removed. 1/2 tank of fuel was gone. Extra miles on my odometer and the mileage was conveniently left off of the invoice. Trip set was set to zero. And I washed it before I took it in, plus I'm a senior who doesn't off road! I also have a nice dent in my rear quarter panel. And my jumper cables, sun shade and tie downs are stolen. Someone left their coffee mug and remnants of their frozen waffles in it. Samantha will look you right in the eye and change her story multiple times. Even the bracket to hold down my battery was missing. My shocks are blown. There are green scratches everywhere. Took my truck to Prell Auto. In less than 24 hours I got my truck back in tact and now have working AC. Didn't take 19 days. And recently a white van in their parking lot was covered in red clay. They live in Atmore. How does my truck have an extra few hundred miles on it? How does it get dented and covered in mud and dirt. How does the interior have personal belongings in it that aren't ours. Precision Tune Auto needs to pay for the damages, vandalism and theft! I call their Corporate office and they never call back. You can only leave a voice message. How did my tools go from the bed of my truck to the driver's side door? How does someone throw their trash in the bed of my truck? Why was my trip set on zero? He walked into their shop and the asst mgr quickly went next door with him and helped get the door unlocked. They were super courteous and helpful! I arrived around 9 am( hour after opening).The lobby was filled with 6 or more people already. I thought I was going to be there for a long time. The gentleman at the desk quickly checked out 2 people and the mechanics were working fast to fix the other vehicles. When I told them my issues ( fuse for my cigarette lighters was blown and my connector for the passenger light was broken) he said he'd get an estimate and let me know how much. Stopped due to my AC quit working, they knew we were just visiting here for the weekend and that we were military. Thought It was a simple Freon issue. They told me that I needed a new control panel. Would cost me $500 in parts and labor. They said it wasn't my Freon, that they added more and it didn't work. Endured the hot ride and took it back to Panama City where I'm stationed, got a second opinion with Good Year Auto Service. It was just very low on Freon. Started working immediately. Said it's very rare that it's ever a control panel issue. Will never go back here and tell people to avoid a company who would rather rip you off if you don't know about cars and usually wouldn't get a second opinion. Instead of just doing their jobs! How would an expert in AC automatically assume it the most expensive part of the AC which is the control panel instead of simple fix of Freon issue? I'm sure they would have no problem taking my $500 adding cheap Freon and sending me on my way. Scam! Don't go there! read more

Car expert came and got me in the waiting room to show me the findings of his inspection. He took time to make sure I understood the problem (loose oil drain plug) and fixed it quickly. This place is both rude and incompetent. They replaced my sons front brake pads a few weeks ago. When my husband and I came to visit this week my husband noticed a squeaking noise. After climbing under the vehicle my husband saw there were no bolts holding the left side brake caliper on. He looked at the right and those bolts were ready to fall off. We had to buy bolts from an auto part store next door, who were so helpful by the way. When my husband was able to get to a jack so he could remove the tire he saw the caliper was completely ruined from rattling around. We had to buy one to replace it. When Precision was open we asked them to pull the right tire off and check to make sure nothing was damaged. The manager refused to remove the tire and only climbed under and said yeah it looks fine. I told him the other damage wasn't visible without the tire removal and he still refused. Now we have to pay someone to finish the job already paid for. Precision finally agreed to reimburse us for the caliper and bolts but not the tools that we were forced to buy in order to do their job. They didn't even apologize and were very rude. Please don't go there because their incompetence put my son seriously at risk by not tightening bolts. He could have lost his brakes thanks to them. One of the worst places I have ever been to. read more
