Without even scoping the drain or looking for a cleanout to potentially mitigate, the plumber quoted me just shy of $11,000 to replace the entire line. I'm not a plumber, but I'm not an idiot either. I don't panic, and I don't believe people who prey on your panic. TJ from Drainvisions came out, partially cleaned my line and made plans to come back out after I could secure a better access point (old house with weird plumbing). Came back out, gave it hell, but still couldn't get cleared. He was unhappier than me about it. Came back out again same day after we were able to locate a curbside cleanout for proper access to the line. I was his first appointment that day, so I knew exactly how long his day was, and totally would've been amenable to the next day instead, but he was determined. Together with his coworker, after a 12+ hour day, they came back at almost 9 pm and got it done, pulling out a clog that I've never seen the likes of: 3.5 feet of root and hair ( property was previously a small salon).
