Saturday afternoon and the 3rd garage won't close. My son called Precision because they provided us service for another property in Verdi previously. The original technician who did the repair was off but another one called right away and was probably enroute to my property within 20 minutes of my son's call to get someone to look at the problem. Brandon the technician was at my property promptly and identified the issue in minutes. He addressed the issue and calibrated the garage door and opener and asked if there was anything else I needed. Best service, timely, prompt and cleaned up after he was done. Precision got my business because they know customer service! read more

25 year old garage door started to fail. Precision came out within an hour and performed a full assessment. They replaced the broken mainspring and gave an estimate on replacing both doors that was more than fair. Four weeks later they returned with our new doors and installed them. Installation took about 6 hours and the quality of work and materials was outstanding read more

Precision - New insulated garage doors. - Garage Door Services Near Me - Reno, Nevada

We just experienced a broken spring on our overhead garage door, and though not an emergency, like one's furnace going out in the middle or Winter, I also didn't want to wait 3-4 days to have it repaired. Precision was able to get a technician to my home the next morning. Jared inspected the door and explained what immediate repair/replacement was needed. The door is now functioning fine, and I was provided with a military/veteran discount as well. I highly recommend Precision. John S. Sparks, NV read more

I typically don't go out of my way to write reviews, but my experience with Precision Garage Door Service deserves recognition. I live in an older home and had two garage doors that were well beyond a simple repair. When one of the doors finally stopped opening altogether, I knew it was time for a replacement. I contacted several local garage door companies, and while all of them were professional and provided estimates, Precision Garage Door Service stood out from the start. What impressed me most was their ability to offer options. They took the time to explain different solutions and worked within my budget rather than pushing the most expensive option (shout out to Jered). They also offered financing, which made the decision much easier and by far, they offered the best price. The installation process exceeded my expectations. The doors arrived sooner than originally projected, and the installer (shout out to Hollis) who had more than 20 years of experience, was exceptional. He was professional, knowledgeable, and took great pride in his work. Not only did he do an outstanding job, but he also left the work area spotless. The transformation was incredible, our garage doors look brand new and have completely improved the appearance and functionality of our home. From start to finish, the entire experience was seamless and professional. I highly recommend Precision Garage Door Service and would absolutely make them my first call for any future garage door needs. read more

I signed up online for the $30 garage door tuneup which I had seen advertised on television for 3 days in the future. I didn't receive any follow up call or text. When my appointment time arrived I waited 5 minutes and then called the office to see if my appointment was still scheduled. The receptionist confirmed it was and stated she'd have the technician call me with an updated arrival time. Jered called about 20 minutes later and stated he was on his way but he was about 40 minutes away in Minden. Jered was very nice, professional, seemed competent and experienced. He examined the door and its functioning and informed me what he observed as he was doing it. It was obvious to me that the technicians are trained and expected to upsell; however, it wasn't a hard or coercive upsell. He told me what needed immediate replacement (nothing) and what would need eventual replacement (springs, bearings, motor, and rollers) and the cost for them and which ones he could do today if so desired and which would require a later appointment. I opted just for the tuneup on my two garage doors, a double door and a single door, each for $30. I paid with credit card, but he said they also accept check but not cash. He sprayed silicone lubricant on all the roller pins and bearings, springs, and the tension wheel and bearings and he was done. read more

Our technician was quick , professional, and helpful. I will use them again in the future and would recommend them to anyone.

Jered was very professional and courteous. He called early to say he had an opening, but I wasn't available and was happy to keep the original window of time. He called back to say he was on his way, and I filled him in a little more as far as what was going on. Jered made me feel less stupid by say "it happens more than you think". He assessed the damage, provided options, offered suggestions, and spoke in layman's terms which was appreciated. Jered worked quickly and efficiently. He mentioned the motor being on the older side and possibly needing to be replaced down the road and offered his business card. Thank you! read more

We needed our 2 car garage door replaced along with the small 1 car door. Precision was easy to work with, we selected the doors and Precision called whenthey were in. Making an appointment for installation was seamless and we were able to have the large door replaced first, and as we requested they would install the small door a couple of days later. They arrived early in the window of time I was quoted and did an excellent job with the double garage door. It works smoothly and no more noise. Can't wait for the other door to be installed as it will look so much better. All the employees we dealt with were professional, courteous, and answered any questions we had. I would highly recommend Precision Door. read more

Precision - Replacement garage door spring. - Garage Door Services Near Me - Reno, Nevada

In April my garage door opener went out on a Saturday. Precision was the only company to come out the next day and replace it. What's even better it was their normal cost and they understood my security concerns (door would not lock and it could be opened from the outside). No "after hour" charge up of $150 and couldn't replace it for 3-5 business days. Well Precision won my business moving forward and the other local company lost my loyalty moving forward. Best part about the service was the tech was outstanding and provided 5 star customer service. I waited a month or two to write this review to make sure all was good. read more

I have made Fernley, Nevada my home for the past five years. The time had come for me to get maintenance on my garage doors. I received a flyer in the mail from Precision Garage Door and I decided to give them a call. The customer service representative told me that a technician would come to my house that day to do an inspection and provide me a quote on what repairs would be needed. I got a call from Jared, the technician and he told me that he was en route to Fernley. He arrived within an hour after the call. He inspected both doors and he told me about some of the parts that could fail because of wear and tear. I was given a quote for the basic springs and the heavy duty springs. I chose to go with the latter due to their more robust build. The repairs were made that day. New springs, bearings, and rollers were installed for both doors and the hinges were lubricated along with the new parts. The chain for door one was also adjusted to ensure that it operated more smoothly. Based on the positive feedback that Precision Garage Door has received, I am confident that I made the right choice in finding a garage door service company that I can count on for my repair and maintenance needs for my garage doors. read more

I am absolutely impressed with the service from Precision Garage Door of Reno. I was opening my garage door and found out that my garage spring broke. I couldn't open my garage door because it was too heavy for the opener. So I did a Google search for garage repair on a Sunday and it led me to their website. I called the number and after a few rings a live person answered the phone on a Sunday at 4:00. I mentioned my emergency situation and she explained to me that normally a service call is $29 before 6:00 PM. She informed me that a service technician will not be able to perform the service until 6-8PM and there the cost would increase to $129. She explained to me that Alex will contact me on my cell phone and inform me when he is on his way to my house. Evidently, Alex arrived before 6:00 and did not charge me the $129, but the basic service visit of $29. He replaced the spring in a timely manner and replaced all my rollers. I paid for the more durable spring that had a longer warranty and it lasts three times of a standard spring. He explained to me that the bearings are sealed on the rollers compared to what I had. When he showed me the old wheels that he removed they were very loose and the bearings were worn down. So I was glad I replaced the rollers. He even gave me a discount to only pay for 8 rollers instead of 10. Alex was very polite and answered all my questions and gave me a lesson on garage door care. I still can't believe in a 3 hour period that I had it repaired on the same day I called. Now that is service! Granted, I paid over $1000 for the repair, but I have peace of mind that my garage door will last another 15 years without any problems. The only maintenance required is to lube the hinges, axels, and spring and with silicone lubricant yearly. I highly recommend Precision Garage Door for installation or repair of your garage door. read more

My garage door spring broke and I reached out for service. Thanks again for the help! read more
