He suggested a white pearl color instead of repainting it red. What? I thought the most practical thing would be to repaint the same color but we trusted Spike every step of the way. The initial quote increased but that was because of the premium paint that I chose and some other issues. We still feel that what we paid was worth every penny. Spike is a perfectionist. I asked when I made the appointment if he also does dash cam installs, cause that was something else I needed. He said yes and quoted me. When I came to pick up the car when he told me, it seemed he forgot about the dash cam and asked if I could "hang out for a bit" while they didn't quick. It took almost 3 hours. On the drive home, my check engine light was on, but he assured it would turn off, which it did. When I got the car in daylight to see it, the wrap was horrible. Pinched corners, chrome still exposed, uneven cuts, etc. also, the interior elements weren't replaced correctly, so my door wouldn't close and the A pillar cover came off. I told him and scheduled an appointment to bring it back. I showed up for that appointment, and he wasn't there. He didn't answer my calls or texts (as he had been before) and ghosted me. I had to fix it myself. To top it off, he ran the power cable of the camera directly to the battery, which I didn't realize. After a work trip, I came home to a dead battery, and had to call AAA, who pointed out the camera wire. I've had previous cars wrapped, but this was the worst experience with a shop I've had.
