Buying a home in the mountains requires serious experience and knowledge both of which Jeremy has in droves. He was super patient answering all our questions was extremely well informed on the local area and all its quirks and issues. We felt like we were in the company of someone who really cares about providing top notch expert advice and made our purchase worry free and easy. One day before closing there was a bad hail storm that swept through Grand Lake. We were just in the process of acquiring our new insurance for the building and wondering if the storm had compromised our new homes roof. After we called him the night before he said he would go the very next day which was super awesome for our peace of mind. The next day as promised Jeremy texted me after 5pm and made a special trip after his already full day to go back to Grand Lake and climb up on the roof again to give us the update of the post hail status. So it turned out the hail did not cause any problems and looked the same as a couple weeks before when he had done initial inspection. I will hire him and recommend him whenever anyone asks. He has certifications above and beyond what is required under Co state laws as well as having a contractors license and background which just puts him (IMO) lightyears ahead of the pack. I will start off by saying I am a repeat customer. I was searching hard for homes and when I found one, I started looking for a reliable home inspector and came across Jeremy. The first house I had him look at, at first glance, seemed like the perfect place for me so I gave Jeremy a call and had him come out and take a good look at it for me. Needless to say, he discovered quite a few things that needed to be fixed and it would be costly. Unfortunely the sellers wouldnt fix it so he saved me a ton of money on the first house. The 2nd house I found seemed even better than the first so Jeremy was the first call I made. He came out and did a thorough inspection and voiced his concerns to me about the house and suggested getting a certified HVAC guy out there to do a closer inspection of the piping and boiler and what not. GOOD THING I LISTENED TO HIM! After was all said and done, I was going to be looking at over 14k dollars worth of stuff that was in dire need of replacement/fixing. The seller knew about it but chose not to disclose and so yet again, I walked away. One day I will come across another place and Jeremy will be my first call. Very reliable, honest, and trustworthy. Jeremy at Precision Home Inspections does an exceptional job. I was initially leery given that he was not personally recommended to me. Jeremy answered his phone the first attempt at calling him. He adjusted his schedule to accommodate our short window to inspect our home. He allotted an appropriate amount of time for the inspection and thoroughly spent every minute of the 4.5 hours diligently covering every area of the house. He took the time to explain what he was looking at and what condition it was in. He clearly knows what to look for when doing a pre-buy inspection to insure that you are not buying a lemon. Buying our first home in Steamboat Springs - found Jeremy on Yelp and he was fantastic. I've been in real estate over a decade and own a small real estate company myself - so I've been through my fair share of inspectors. Jeremy was prompt, professional, helpful, knowledgeable and reliable. His follow up and additional resources (ie. local contractors to help with repairs) were excellent. He also had a great "bedside manner" - he was careful not to over-inflate small issues, yet was true to himself with what he felt were major concerns. His reports were complete and comprehensive.
