I needed to re-do my kitchen in my lovely semi-attached house…read more First thing I did I went to big brands for Home Improvement and particularly I was looking for granite and marble stone for my cabinet and some kind of stone or ceramic for my flooring as it is really easy to clean specially in our kitchen and toilet. Guess what? The price and estimation was going through roof! This was only if I was opting for lowest degree stone and material which was not exactly what I wanted. Yes the showroom was phenomenal, the range of stones was great, their website was excellent and you get indulged with all the colors and options, but it cost an arm and a leg. So I asked for some advice from our close friends, then they introduced me For Stone. Oh my God unbelievable prices and great quality and service, excellent payment terms and I am flying and flattered and with their job. The business owner is a very gentleman Canadian (originally from Iran) and on the top of his job and they are really professional. I do want to recommend them. I hope you get the same VIP service and special offer I got. And last but not least, remember that big brand I told you half of my review ... they get the job from you and give For Stone to execute it!!!!! You do the calculation of the commission you give to the BIG BRAND.

We decided to get a home inspection after purchase for peace of mind even though we didn't have…read moreevident issues. Given the housing market is cooling nowadays, if you're in the market, you are probably in a better position to negotiate an inspection on purchase. The 5-star consistent Yelp reviews don't lie. Vahn is great, and I highly recommend him! He knows his stuff and has many years of experience in construction, civil engineering and home inspections. He grew up in a household that's in construction and real estate. He quickly responds to the first request for information. However, you should be able to find all you need from the detailed breakdown of prices on his website. He spent four hours on our house and thoroughly explained the HVAC system, how all our equipment works, and how to maintain it through the seasons. Very patient with answering all my Q's because I know nothing about it. While our home is relatively new and within limited warranty, he did find some HVAC-related items, electrical panel and external areas to improve. What did we receive at the end? A detailed 45-page report (we had two HVAC systems) with 10+ recommendations and pictures. He even had diagrams of our electrical, heating and plumbing systems etc. All the model numbers of our equipment and home appliances were listed and submitted to notify us of any recalls on an ongoing basis. It was worth it for us to get the home inspection after purchase. We paid for the extended thermal scan of the home, but we didn't upgrade for the radon scan. However, it's only $30 to add on a radon scan if you want a quick check.

(real estate home purchase is 5days condition offers with house inspection. ) When I try to contact the seller agent for the date and time that was given by Vahn is already too late. someone else has booked that time on line with Vahn. At first I was very upset when I called Vahn and he explained to me why is unavailable and he took the time to contact another inspector to help me. I will definitely recommend friends and family for Vahn service even I don't have a chance to have Vahn to be there for my home purchase at this home inspection, I will contact him for next house purchase. Thank you for the service recovery! Much appreciated!

I happily accepted a recommendation for Baker Street and was completely satisfied with the service. Jeff Clarke, the President of the company, came to our home himself and did a thorough examination. He walked us through details we knew nothing about, explaining things in a user-friendly way! He wrote a detailed report which we still have for reference and offered to be available if we needed further advice or services. I have nothing to compare Baker Street to but Jeff made this potentially stressful situation totally relaxing and left us feeling confident about our purchase!!

On the day of the job he arrived on time and worked quietly and efficiently to get the work done. The windows sparkled afterwards! Due to Andrew's good work ethic and pleasant manner, I have asked him to return to power wash the walkways around my house. In terms of cost, I have never hired anyone to clean my windows before but I found the price reasonable for what needed to be done. It was also comparable to another company I got a quote from. I would therefore highly recommend Jerry's Home Services based on my experience with them.
