I came here after my previous eye doctor closed. My new glasses caused headaches and blurry vision…read morein my right eye. Over three visits in three months, I repeatedly raised these concerns and was told it was dry eye and given drops. They refused to trial a new lens or reassess the prescription, despite my requests. I've worn glasses for longer than the dr has been practicing and I know when something isn't right. I left feeling dismissed and unheard. A total waste of my time, I could have had this corrected by now. Would not recommend.

5/2/2019 I made a first appointment with Dr. Edison on April…read more16, 2019 in the Eatontown office for an annual full exam. Although there were three personnel behind the reception desk, I was never greeted or acknowledged in any way by any of them when I signed in. The young woman who did my pre-exam was pleasant and very efficient. She obviously was very trained in her job but she was the only "plus" of the entire visit. Dr. Edison examined me, gave me a prescription for new glasses and turned me over to his optician (which I had not requested) who quoted me a price of "about $400" for the glasses, this without even knowing what type of frame I wanted (which, of course, would have to be known to determine a price). I informed her that I would not be ordering my glasses from her. She appeared not to be happy about that. I was then told that the test for peripheral vision could not be done that day because of "lack of time" and I notified the staff member that I would call for a future appointment as I was not aware of my calendar offhand and I did not realize that an exam would require a second appointment! I did call back to make that appointment but then I was told I would need a THIRD appointment for Dr. Edison to give me the results of my SECOND appointment test! I was really steamed that a one-time appointment had now been stretched to three, each of which, I am certain, would be billed to Medicare and my supplemental insurance! I had made the appointment for the visual test for May 7 but on Friday, April 26 at 4:20PM (I thought the office was open until 5PM) I left a message stating that I was cancelling my May appointment and I would not be re-scheduling it. Today (May 2) I got a voicemail reminding me of my appointment!!! These have got to be the most inefficient (and money-oriented) people I have ever dealt with! STAY AWAY!!!

Hopefully he sends it as I had to leave info with another person. What happens in a biz where they bill insurance companies and your satisfaction is not required.

Clarkson Eyecare in Maryland Heights is the worst The receptionist was rude and had no manners she…read morelacked people skills and had no business working with the public she didn't know how She would roll her eyes at me and every other word she said was God. When I asked how I would get my prescription for my contact lens she said it would be emailed to me I told her she did not know what my Email address was and that I would write it down I was standing at the entry door and she was behind the counter she told me I did not need to write it down that I could tell her from across the room and she would remember it how unprofessional That was the 3rd trip that I had made to Clarkson eyecare to get my prescription my exam was in November I never did get the prescription that I asked for I wanted colored contacts I did get the prescription for the plain ones today
