I spent a good three weeks in Michigan this summer and this is where I got my hair trimmed. They did a nice job and it was cheap enough and I came with one of my friends from Michigan State and she says that all of her friends come here for hair as well which I find hard to believe cuz it was so quiet the day that we were here.

Absolute worst haircut I've ever had in my life. I went to Ashley for a curl haircut. She's a…read morelevel 7 stylist so I assumed she would know what she was doing. Apparently mullets are her specialty and instead of enhancing my naturally curly hair she cut a mullet on me so short that my curls couldn't even form. I actually cried. I had to go to my previous stylist so that she could fix it and the only way she could do that was to cut my hair shorter. It went from curly below my shoulders to so short I can't even put a ponytail in. I did email the owner and sent before and after pictures. She refunded my money and offered to personally cut my hair next time I needed a cut. She was the only positive in an extremely upsetting situation.

I have thick natural African American hair so sometimes when I walk in a salon that has mainly Caucasian clientele the stylists look a little panicked and aren't sure what to do with it. Not Ellie, she tamed my curls and had my hair straightened and styled all the while explaining what she was doing so I could touch it up later. I was charged $65 for a blow dry/ flat iron /trim / curl, which I feel is really reasonable for how long she spent on my harder to manage hair. I really enjoyed my hairstyle afterwards and the salon was comfy and pleasant. Smita also does a really good job on eyebrow threading which I will probably be making an appointment for soon.

During my massage there was constant running up and down the Halls, and loud screaming. Made it very hard to relax and actually enjoy myself even though Heather did a fantastic job.
