I have very thick, wavy Asian hair that I find difficulty in managing, and Lori was great in following everything that I asked for in a cut! I love the layers and blowout she did for my hair. She's also great in making sure I'm comfortable and asking ahead of time if it would be okay for her to proceed with doing something to my head. She also straightened my hair without putting heat protectant spray and explained it was to make sure she got an " even cut". I walks out with chunks of hair falling out of my head after she "thinned my hair out" because it was " too thick". She put 0 love into my hair and made me feel like she didn't care about my experience there. Sad. I went back to complain but she was just straight faced and looked annoyed. DAVID IS ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE, AVOID HIM AT ALL COSTS!! I don't know what this man's problem is, but he seems to have a sick obsession with shaving people bald against their will. I asked for a very simple haircut--a #2 everywhere. Instead of using a #2 like he was supposed to, he used a zero (for those of you unfamiliar, a zero is a shaved head/no hair). I really don't want the skin of my head to be exposed, and I don't know many people who would intentionally want to appear bald when they have a full head of hair. I'm not the only person who feels this way either. If you browse around the reviews, you'll see that many other people feel similarly to the way I do. Here are links to 2 of the most recent reviews attesting to the same experience: This person had an identical experience to mine. He asked for a #2 all-around, but ended up completely bald instead. It's that if you give David a set of clippers, be prepared to wind up bald. In the hands of a truly skilled barber, clippers are your friends, capable of producing cool hairstyles of cuts. In the hands of David, clippers become a hair-devouring, scalp-exposing, metal nightmare. I've been a long-time lurker on yelp, but never felt compelled to create an account until my horrible experience with David. The fact that I signed up for the first time after many years, just to write a review telling others to stay away from him, should speak volumes. This guy really needs to go. I've been coming here since around 2018, and I honestly can't recommend this shop enough. Tony has been my barber the entire time, and he's consistently done an amazing job. He understands how my hair grows, knows my hair texture, and always takes the time to listen if I want to try something different. No matter what I ask for, I leave happy with my cut. One thing I really appreciate is how welcoming everyone is. I have been very lucky to be a regular customer of this salon, mainly because of "Master David". Anyway, my son showed him the picture and he said it was a girl in the picture. My son has curly hair, the guy in the pic had curly hair. He tirned his back on us and said it was a girl's hair. I told my son to get up and said to never mind. The lady who assigned us the old guy insisted it was ok but the old man didn't seem interested. So we left. Went to hair Palace across the street and got what we wanted. No fuss. You should be able to pick who cuts your hair and the people working there should be able to follow your request regardless. Anyway, that's it for that place for my son.

This is because I believe that barbers are meant to cut men's hair and hairdressers are for women's. Just like a psychologist is different from a psychiatrist-- but I'm getting a little too far. In typical barber shops, you'll have to wait for a long time to get in, sometimes even if you have an appointment. And the haircut takes at least an hour to finish. I know that "hair cutting" is an art and shouldn't be rushed, but I don't think my hair needs an hour's worth of attention. Lol. 15-20 minutes is enough amount of time. This is what I got here. The place was a little packed, but the pacing was fast. Fortunately, their pace does not compromise the quality of service. I left the place not even having to worry about short loose cut hair lurking on my newly groomed head. Phillip did a great job from making sure I'm satisfied with my haircut to making sure most of those loose hair are removed. For $12.00, this place is for keeps!

Looking forward to a girls day of pampering turned out to be the WORST manicure I have EVER gotten! I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone... The people who do the manicures are primarily hairstylists. I literally had 3 different people work on my nails between patients as they came in for a haircuts.. Very sloppy work…read more Expect polish to be on your skin, nail ladies to be stingy when asking for a 3rd coat (when the color is too light), then the polish being too thick after trying to cover up their previous errors by adding more layers... Even after asking them to fix it 3x, they still couldn't get it clean. I would've been better off asking for the polish so i can paint it myself.
