Prior to buying our home Triple Crown Paving was hired by the owner to repair and regravel the…read moredrive. They charged him $2500.00 to grade and put down 5 loads of gravel. Apparently they had a problem grading due to rock so just put down gravel. When we moved in 2 wheel drive vehicles all got stuck in the gravel filled ruts. Triple Crown Paving owner came by after I called him to complain. He suggested paving a short part of the drive with asphalt. He would give us a deal on the asphalt as he said he had about 10 yard left over from a church lot they were doing. With the movers coming the next day, I had to do something.. They ended up paving 120' at a cost of $8,900.00. They left the asphalt rough for traction which sounded viable. They came back a couple days later and said it needed to now be treated because the gravel in the asphalt was lossening. So they gave us another "deal" on the treatment so this only cost us another $4,800.00 because they had to put it on heavy because it was rough. I take some blame because I didn't get a full quote and a contract but also feel we were taken advantage of somewhat. Unfortunately, I would NOT recommend them.
