They rented my place as 4/1/2025 I have texts & emails with proof yet they will not return my deposit and are now trying to charge me rent! I moved out 3/26/2025, they had a tent and a deposit as for 4/1/25. Mike one of there property mangers is a fraud. Called me several times while I lived at the property pushing for me to buy something elsewhere. Doesn't return calls or texts to clear up his mistake once I moved out! Not only did they not reimburse for anything, the security deposit was never returned to date.And after all of the above they did try and charge for some "made up problems" to even knock down the security deposit. Thankfully I do have pictures that I took before we left. My family ended up in the ER with breathing complications from it. And that added complications to me being sick afterwards as it hit me harder in my lungs.Still nothing from them. And the most astonishing thing is, after we vacated, they posted the rental again. I did attempt to contact them before going the litigantion way. They don't even bother to respond.

We went to this coldwell banker office for property management services on a seasonal rental…read moreproperty near sarasota. an initial maintenance account was funded by us, and the contract called for a 15% management fee, and a $3,000 rental price. the rental money was direct deposited in our bank account. on two separate occasions, the deposit was significantly short. the manager did not reply to us at all on the first incident, and only said the shortage was due to expenses on the second incident. no accounting was ever provided, and the money in the maintenance account seems to have vanished, unaccounted. also, the property manager insisted after the contract was signed that the rental price was high and hammered us to lower it twice and was unresponsive in general. overall not a good experience.

This is our second time renting at Midnight Cove II and I can say we won't be booking again…read more Cockroaches (more than one) despite the pest control that came to spray (and gaslighted me by saying this is normal - we are in Florida) as if cockroaches should be totally acceptable when you spend a few thousand dollars to stay here. No. I have made plenty of visits here and several other warm climate destinations and "barrier islands" and I have never had to deal with cockroaches like this. The floor was dirty upon entry - food and crumbs beneath the couch. The temperature would not regulate - air kicked on and off randomly despite trying to adjust the thermostat. We went from boiling hot to freezing cold each and every night. Large cracks and gaps at the base of doors. We could not even use the outdoor screened porch because cockroaches and lizards making their way in through the large gap. No thanks. Beware and spend your money elsewhere.
