Took days for a response to me and weeks for a response to the opposing party. What I thought would take 60 days ended up taking 6 months. They advertise "thousands of successful client cases". I was the only one fighting for myself and I feel the only one that eventually made it successful. I was encouraged to "pay the as$_@le fee" a number of times. It was only when I put my foot down and said it was either this or court, did we get anywhere. I did not have a lawyer, I had a messenger. They advertise "reducing stress", "they are family law attorneys that provide not only legal counsel but emotional support", "they effectively communicate complex legal jargon", etc. They did not reduce stress, they made a stressful situation so much more stressful. I received only a few word responses most of the time, "for your review" or "for your records" or "I can't look at this for a few days but wanted to get it to you". It was only when I took us all down huge rabbit holes and spent a significant amount of time (aka money), would they then explain what the legal jargon actually meant. And last but not least, you pre-pay for services which is understandable, but they do not give you all the details. They fail to mention that they will keep your case open 30 days after it is concluded, just in case you need them for anything (even though you are able to still reach out after the 30 days if needed). And after those 30 days, it then goes to the accounting department where they hold it for another 45 days just in case other charges come up (even though they have all your information, including a credit card number/bank account if needed). Not a fun thing to learn after a 6-month $12,500 battle, that they are going to hold your $3,500 hostage for another 75 days. With all that said, I WOULD recommend my ex-husband's lawyer, as they ran circles around us (extremely embarrassing). Her name is Kate Simonds with the Simonds Law Group. They nit pick claims in an insane manner. It is almost impossible to get one of their FSA debit cards to continue functioning throughout the year. They turn them off for every little thing. They are unreasonable and they hid behind the Sarbanes-Oxley act ever time you question the unreasonability of their practices. IF YOU HAVE TO USE THEM, DO NOT ENROLL THEIR FSA!

They required a deposit during contracting and then took almost 90 days getting it back to me while the contract stated 45 days. I received half the amount ($4300) with explanation that they adjusted for amortized unemployment...sounds like they artificially reduce your costs to then make you pay once leaving. None of the sales execs, COO, CEO or customer directors bothered to call back when I tried to reach them to explain why I am leaving...could care less. They also don't provide the healthcare cost premiums until too late to decide on other options. Be careful of their contract language and discrepancies. I would not recommend them at all.
