They made a real effort to accommodate our needs and limitations, which is something we truly valued and don't often see in similar places. Most importantly, our son genuinely enjoyed going there every day. He was excited to arrive, and sometimes he didn't even want to come home after a full day. The communication was just the right amount, and we always felt that he was in good hands. Highly recommend Safari Kid as a daycare or preschool! Special thanks to Miss Pooja and Miss Kruthi.

After only touring the facility, I will let you know what I witnessed…read more 1. The facility is dirty. From the floors, walls and the bathrooms the children use. I cannot imagine what the kitchen looks like where they prep the snacks. The paint was noticeably chipping off the walls and floor molding. It is not kept up like many other facilities in the area. 2. The outdoor play yard has minimal shade. They do have sun sails up but they do not provide proper shade for the children. 3. I didn't see any children smiling or having fun when we looked into the 2s, 3s and 4s rooms. It was a quiet room, but not in a good way. 4. There were many other safety concerns but the main issue I saw that needs to be addressed was that there were clear wall tacks used on the hallways to hold up art and other things. Toddlers walk the halls and it's a huge safety hazard to them. Tacks always fall off walls and it just takes one toddler to toss it into their mouth in a split second. Using tacks and tapes on the walls is definitely not to code and a violation of safety standards. 5. They are planning on adding infants to the room that has children up to age 2. I haven't seen this done anywhere else. It's a health and safety hazard to have infants with 2 year olds. Do not send your infants here. 6. This was the least racial diverse facility I have toured. It might not be a deal breaker for some, but it is definitely something to consider as it is something to give most parents pause. 7. While the lady who gave the tour was nice enough. She mainly walked me to the rooms and set me down in her office and asked if I had questions. She didn't tell me about their curriculum, enrichment opportunities, ratios, or what makes them stand out against the many other preschools in the area. Perhaps it's because they do not. I am surprised parents send their children to such an expensive facility that is lacking. Parents should do surprise visits to check on the wellness of their kids here. Visiting this place made me so sad for the children who are stuck in these rooms all day-- especially the room with the 2 year olds.

One of our favorite things about the school is how much effort they put into making learning fun. They always have fun activities planned, especially around the holidays, which makes those special times of year so exciting for the kids. There's always something fun to look forward to! The playgrounds and outdoor spaces are also fantastic. The kids have plenty of room to run, play, explore, and just be kids. You can really tell how much thought goes into creating an environment where they can have fun while learning and growing. We're so grateful for all the teachers and staff who put so much love and effort into making preschool such a positive experience. What really warms my heart are the daily photo updates through the parent portal. There's nothing quite like opening my phone and seeing my little girl learning, playing, and even pitching in to help make food during the day. She looks forward to Friday sharing day every single week, and she loves it so much that she sometimes asks to go to school on weekends just to play with her friends! She truly adores her teachers and friends. Even on mornings when she cries a little at drop-off because she'll miss Mom and Dad, she's quickly distracted and happy -- and sure enough, the photos later in the day show a smiling, joyful child having the time of her life. The biggest and most delightful surprise has been how much Chinese she's picked up. Her vocabulary and speaking ability have grown by leaps and bounds, and she can now switch effortlessly between English (with dad) and Chinese (with mom). Watching her communicate with such confidence in both languages makes me so proud. We're deeply grateful for the warm, nurturing environment this school gives our daughter every day.

She would constantly surprise us with her alphabet and number skills! She learned the cutest Halloween dance in the Orange Room, and we had fun with it every day for months! Every morning she leaves for school with fuzzy hair like Anna waking up, and comes home from the Orange Room glowing like Elsa at her coronation -- because Ms. Krystal even takes care of her hair. I even learned how to do girls' hair from the Orange Room teachers! Special thanks to Ms. Krystal and Ms. Mridula (Orange Room) and Ms. Genna and Ms. Huma (Purple Room) for taking such exceptional care of her and teaching with incredible patience. A big thank you as well to the principals, Ms. Lena and Ms. Semma, for creating an exceptional school that offers a truly cultural-immersive experience and beautifully blends two cultures together. Our son is now on the waitlist to join next year, and knowing he will be in such good hands -- learning, growing, and having so much fun -- we are beyond excited for his journey to begin!

The 2-3 year old teachers also do a wonderful job teaching structure and basic rules, and it really shows -- my son can already count numbers and recite his ABCs! It's amazing to see how much he has grown and learned. We couldn't be happier. Highly recommend to any parent looking for a safe, nurturing home away from home for their little one!

We have been so pleased since our child began attending Bright Minds. The staff is warm, caring, and kind. A huge shout to Ms. Jennifer and Ms. Edith-our child raves about them and it is evident that they care about our child's wellbeing. Our child enjoys going to school, learns so much, and has made such great connections with the staff and other students. To me, this is so meaningful as we want our child to love learning! Our child is happy and actually wants to go to school. The facility itself is clean, the toys are thoughtfully selected and rotated, the director and owner are kind/caring, there is open and honest communication from staff/teachers/owners/director. They even hold parent/teacher conferences to showcase what our child was working on, areas of growth, and progress. Specifically highlighting our child's strengths in the process. They have had concerts and halloween events which are extremely well thought out and executed, leaving an impression on children and families alike. There is structure and routine in our childs day. Our child knows what to expect and what times things are going to happen. Our child (as do many preschoolers) really thrives with this routine and structure in place. The class and environment are not hectic or chaotic, the staff has great classroom management. Our family went through some very challenging times and Bright Minds showed up ten fold for our family. Check-ins, asking if we needed anything, and accommodating anything that we needed. For this alone, our family will always be grateful for the staff, owner, and directors at Bright Minds. Anyone can become an educator, but being genuine, compassionate, and caring, during the hardest times really does showcase the nature of the staff here. Huge shout out to Ms. Jennifer, Ms. Eunhee, Ms. Lauren and even the other teachers such as Ms. Stephanie who have shown how much they care. I too work in education, and finding genuine educators like those here at Bright Minds is not easy. As other reviews state, we too wish Bright Minds would expand to elementary school :) If you are looking for a fabulous preschool, that is clean, well managed, with staff/teachers/owners/directors that go the extra mile, look no further. Seriously!

Families can choose for their child to attend two, three or five days a week. The infant room was good, mostly because our baby had an excellent primary caregiver who communicated with us regularly and knew what she was doing (that teacher has since left). However, once we transitioned into the toddler room things really seemed to go downhill. Communication was poor, and we found out by accident that our daughter was being moved into different classrooms throughout the day before her transition date (not ok!). Staff turnover was crazy high, both with teachers and administrators (3 directors in less than two years!). Many of the teachers we liked and who seemed to genuinely care for our child left after only a brief time working there. There doesn't seem to be a lot of investment in hiring, training, and keeping capable staff. I was also alarmed to see that Lily of the Valley has been reported several times to the state or they have failed inspections for being out of ratio. For not having been open that long they've been in trouble a lot. One more thing of note was this center's reliance on tablets and screens in the classroom. I was upset to learn that every single day the toddlers were watching screens and the adults in the room weren't reading books out loud, just using an iPad and a Bluetooth speaker with a video playing. I complained and was told that they changed this practice, but when we were given paperwork for renewing enrollment, there was a consent form for my TWO YEAR OLD to use the internet and tablet unsupervised. So I think that's just the way they do things. I had really high hopes for Lily of the Valley.
