He enjoyed going here from his week 1 and had a very smooth restart post Covid break. The teachers were very caring and patient with him throughout his time there and helped him gain social skills which was very commendable. Their curriculum is really good for kids his age and helped him learn a lot about how to interact and share with his peers. On the whole the classroom activities here are really helpful for growing kids and we clearly saw the difference in our kid before and after going to this school.

From day one, we've felt genuinely welcomed and supported by the kind and dedicated staff. What I truly appreciate is the variety of enriching projects the children get to explore -- from hands-on science experiments to creative art activities, there's always something exciting that sparks curiosity and learning. The daily structure also includes plenty of outdoor play, which my daughter absolutely loves, and it's great to see her come home happy and energized. Another standout for us is the Spanish classes! As a native Spanish speaker, I really value that my daughter can reinforce her Spanish skills at school. It's a beautiful way to stay connected to our roots, and at the same time, it's a wonderful gift to introduce the richness of another language at such an early age. The teachers manage to weave learning into every part of the day with so much care and warmth, both in their interactions with the children and with us as parents. Global Village truly feels like a nurturing community where children can grow academically, socially, and emotionally. We're so grateful to be part of it!

What I love most is that the teachers don't treat this like just a job -- they treat the kids like family. His first class teachers were incredibly patient and gentle with the little ones, always making sure each baby felt safe, comfortable, and loved every single day. The 2-3 year old teachers also do a wonderful job teaching structure and basic rules, and it really shows -- my son can already count numbers and recite his ABCs! It's amazing to see how much he has grown and learned. We couldn't be happier. Highly recommend to any parent looking for a safe, nurturing home away from home for their little one!

Over the years, they've both made so many friends and truly enjoyed coming to school every day. One thing that stands out the most is the teachers--every class has caring, responsible, and loving teachers who genuinely look out for the kids and support their growth. Academically, my older child learned a lot here. By the time she graduated, she was well ahead of what is typically expected in kindergarten, which really gave us confidence in the school's curriculum and teaching approach. We're very grateful for the positive, nurturing environment and highly recommend this preschool to any family looking for a strong start for their children.

To say Montessori School of Pleasanton changed our life is an understatement!…read more My kids both started at MSP starting age 2.5 in primary classrooms (2019-2025). Lucie was in Cedar and Rafa was with Ms Molly at Maple. Both kids had the absolute best foundational learning possible. They had a fantastic well rounded curriculum - everything from sewing work, writing in cursive, reading, math and lots of art and learning about the world. My kids were well prepared for elementary school (& ahead of the curve esp with kinder learning from MSP). Also, I loved having my 2.5 year olds with 5-6 years olds then becoming the older kids!! The kids learn so much from each other in this excellent model. I want to especially acknowledge and thank Ms. Molly. She is simply a gift to the universe with her demeanor. She is kind, caring, loving and has the right set of expectations for our children. I kept Rafael in Kinder year with her and it was one of the best years of our family life. He grew as a leader and took accountability for his work. He thrived under Ms. Molly's teaching. We are extremely grateful for MSP and all the staff for giving my children the best launch pad. We miss our MSP family and are grateful to everyone who taught and cared for my kids, especially Ms. Molly.

Throughout his time there, we truly felt that his teachers cared about him, his growth, and his progress. We especially appreciated the consistency of having the same wonderful teachers in the classrooms over the years--it gave us such a sense of comfort and showed how dedicated the staff is to the school and the children. Our daughter, Penny, started in the youngest classroom at 1 1/2 and continued through the 2s class. Sadly, when her brother started kindergarten, the commute became too far for our family, and we had to make the difficult decision to move her to a school closer to home. We genuinely wish we could have kept both of our children at Little Flowers. Our family had such a positive experience here, and we are incredibly grateful for the care our children received. We would absolutely recommend Little Flowers Montessori to other families. I'm honestly surprised there aren't more positive reviews because our experience over the past 2 1/2 years has been wonderful. We will truly miss the teachers and the school!

This is the only school I actually had a bad experience. When you enter, every admin staff and teacher you greet is extremely friendly but don't assume that's what goes on when you're away. Our worst experience was when we were trying to move up our child from the 2's to the 3's class, They would not move him up because he wasn't potty trained even though he was very advanced for his age in every aspect. I've heard of many daycares requiring 4 year olds to be potty trained but not 3. And when we were transitioning and we were trying hard to potty trained and move him up to the 3 yo class (he was 3.5 and still in a class with kids who just turned 2!), he had small accident so instead of putting the extra diaper we kept on him, they put his pants on without an underwear for the rest of the day, as in "I told you so" message to me by the teacher/director. The director Vanessa was also abrasive and unkind about this whole transition process. Out of all the daycares in Pleasanton we've been to (The Child Day School, Global Village Montessori, St. Clare's, Sonshine preschool) this is the only one I tell my friends "don't do it".

This is my first-ever Yelp review, and what inspired me to write was a small moment that happened…read moreseveral days ago: I was struggling to roll up a yoga mat when my almost 10-year-old daughter walked over and said, "Mama, let me help you. I know how to roll it up. I learned at Beyond because that's what we did every day after nap time, we rolled up and put away our own blankets." Then she confidently demonstrated exactly how to roll up the mat like a pro! This simple moment stopped me in my tracks. Five years after graduating from preschool, she still remembered and applied something she learned there--not just the skill itself, but the confidence and independence behind it. To me, that is the lasting impact of Beyond Montessori! My daughter joined Beyond Montessori shortly after turning two and stayed until she graduated from preschool. Before joining Beyond, we were trying to find a suitable preschool. We visited several so-called "Montessori" schools in the area, but none felt right. We knew we wanted an environment that respected children, encouraged independence, and nurtured curiosity; not one focused primarily on academics at such an early age. When we visited Beyond, we were immediately drawn to the spacious playground, the garden, and most importantly, the atmosphere. Meeting Ms. Sophia was what truly convinced us. Her passion for early childhood education and her understanding of Montessori philosophy deeply resonated with us, and we felt our daughter would be in caring and capable hands. Throughout those years, Ms.Sophia and the teachers provided thoughtful updates, meaningful feedback on our daughter's development, and invaluable parenting advice drawn from years of experience. As parents of a strong-willed child, we especially appreciated guidance that focused on understanding and supporting who she was becoming rather than trying to change her. Now, we still stay in touch with Ms. Sophia and have brought our daughter back several times to visit. It brings us so much joy to see our daughter growing into a cheerful, creative, capable, helpful, and responsible person. As one of the many Asian families in the area, we sometimes feel caught in the pressure to keep up and make sure our children never miss an opportunity. But over time, I've come to believe that the most important goals of early childhood are not getting ahead academically, but helping our children develop confidence, independence, responsibility, kindness, and a lifelong love of learning. For our family, Beyond helped lay that foundation, and for that, we will always be grateful!

The teachers really take time to understand each child's personality and learning style, then create a plan that helps them grow in ways that feel natural. They balance academics with culture, independence, and respect, while constantly encouraging critical thinking and curiosity. Because of that foundation, my kids entered public school confident, independent, and ready to learn. We even skipped TK because we knew they were already prepared -- and the transition went smoothly. Even now, they still love coming back for the after-school program, which says a lot about how welcoming and inspiring this environment is. Our experience has been consistently positive over several years, for two very different children. If you're looking for a school that prepares children academically and helps them grow into thoughtful, respectful little humans, I highly recommend this one.

What really warms my heart are the daily photo updates through the parent portal. There's nothing quite like opening my phone and seeing my little girl learning, playing, and even pitching in to help make food during the day. She looks forward to Friday sharing day every single week, and she loves it so much that she sometimes asks to go to school on weekends just to play with her friends! She truly adores her teachers and friends. Even on mornings when she cries a little at drop-off because she'll miss Mom and Dad, she's quickly distracted and happy -- and sure enough, the photos later in the day show a smiling, joyful child having the time of her life. The biggest and most delightful surprise has been how much Chinese she's picked up. Her vocabulary and speaking ability have grown by leaps and bounds, and she can now switch effortlessly between English (with dad) and Chinese (with mom). Watching her communicate with such confidence in both languages makes me so proud. We're deeply grateful for the warm, nurturing environment this school gives our daughter every day.

Every morning she leaves for school with fuzzy hair like Anna waking up, and comes home from the Orange Room glowing like Elsa at her coronation -- because Ms. Krystal even takes care of her hair. I even learned how to do girls' hair from the Orange Room teachers! Special thanks to Ms. Krystal and Ms. Mridula (Orange Room) and Ms. Genna and Ms. Huma (Purple Room) for taking such exceptional care of her and teaching with incredible patience. A big thank you as well to the principals, Ms. Lena and Ms. Semma, for creating an exceptional school that offers a truly cultural-immersive experience and beautifully blends two cultures together. Our son is now on the waitlist to join next year, and knowing he will be in such good hands -- learning, growing, and having so much fun -- we are beyond excited for his journey to begin!

Updating review for Older Infants classroom…read more My son started in the infant classroom at 7 months and transitioned to the older infants class at 12 months. Older infants is for children 12-18 months. The transition was so smooth! He slowly visited the older infants class and was able to get to know the teachers and the classroom before he formally started. This classroom is all about routine vs the infant class where everything is done off baby's cues and their personal/parent routine. Our son quickly adapted and thrived off having a set routine. The other big change is being able to go outside to the toddler playground which is separate from the older children. When our son transitioned he was unable to walk yet but quickly picked it up soon after moving classes. It's amazing how the teachers are able to do so much with such young toddlers. From sitting all together for circle time, to the endless art projects, to gross motor activities. We are constantly kept up to date via the app and the teachers always tell us about his day at pickup. Our son loves his teachers and is always happy to see Ms. Chua at drop off, who welcome him with open loving arms. Ms. Iris always gives such great updates at pick up. And Ms. Yali has been such a great addition to the class. Overall, we'd one thousand percent recommend Primrose!
