Steve recommended a good local mechanic who was able to deal with our major issue. Our towing insurance could not locate a towing company in the area, and we got Chad's Towing number from a nearby motel clerk. His scanner actually pulled the Porsche specific fault codes - something most indy shops can't do, let alone one in rural SD. Unfortunately this repair called for a transmission replacement, but when I had to rent a Penske trailer to get the car back to California, he inspected the entire tow setup himself. I'd never towed before and his pre-trip check probably saved me a much worse day on the I-90. If you break down near the Badlands, Jerry's the call.
