By far, Dale's Tire was the top business for my situation and exceeded my expectations. The conversation about tires was appropriate, and the desk clerk (Dale) provided me with multiple options, prices, specs, etc. After a week of consideration, I called Dale to set up an appointment. Arrived to find that the shop staff is just as friendly as the front desk staff ... and, everyone walking to and from their work sites came across just as pleasant. The entire experience took less than 45 minutes. And, I was invited back toward the end of the day (after running multiple errands) to have the tires checked for security. To be openly honest, I have experienced issues with Sears in the past ... as the staff did not seem to care, and the prices were always higher than anywhere else. Other sites normally do not even ask any questions ... they just assume a certain tire. And, I will never go back to TMA, as the staff was extremely unfriendly ... I would never trust them to take care of my wife and kids while I'm on detail. As for Dale's Tire, their professionalism was top-notch, and I sincerely appreciated the hassle-free conversations, prices, etc. Most important, if I was ever gone, I would trust this crew with my family.

But it's always an inconvenience, and add a small layer of worry once you get a look at the spare-- generally, it is the best of the tires you were going to get rid of the last time you got tires. In my case, it was pretty bald... nothing like being 400 miles from your destination, 1,500 miles from home, and not much between you and the next real city but a lot of two-lane highway as the sun is going down. Luck (and slower speeds) worked for us, and we made it to town. The next morning, I found Great Western Tire just down the street from a favorite outdoor chain store I try to visit as often as I can, parked my truck and trailer and walked inside. After admitting to a nice guy named Derek that I wasn't sure I was in the right place, I told him my predicament. With a 15 year old trailer, the 13" tire size can be tough to find at home... not here. Despite this place being a commercial tire joint specializing in big truck tires and retreading service, Derek quoted me a fair price and said he could have it ready in about an hour as they were a little backed up today. I ended up buying two tires, and left the trailer while we took the kiddos to Mt Rushmore. I got a call an hour later as promised-- trailer was ready to keep on keeping on. The new tires were placed on the main wheels, and the "good" tire was reinstalled on the spare rim, and placed back in the rear of the trailer. Now if I could just slow down with that 80 mph Wyoming speed limit... Nobody likes to be stuck away from home with auto repair or tire issues-- this place was no frills, no fuss, fair, efficient, and affordable. Worth a phone call if you're in a jam. Mind you, there isn't a college kid working the front end offering you fresh coffee like a retail tire store-- these are working folks who know you aren't here for a haircut-- you're here to buy tires and get on with your life. Thanks to Derek and the Great Western Tire folks for getting us back in the road fast with fresh tires and great service.

Point S was the first thing I saw and I had a good experience at another Point S in Utah last summer, so even though my GPS was set to go to another tire place, I stopped here. They were busy and asked if I had an appointment, and I said that I hadn't exactly planned on a flat tire while traveling that day. ;) At first I thought I was going to have to wait several hours, but one of the guys up front realized my situation and got me right in. They were able to fix my tire and didn't even charge me. I recommend them for their helpfulness!

3:22 Called Roadside Assistance; got directed to local representative; explained how the starter…read moreon my 2002 Silverado wouldn't function; requested tow truck meet me at my home address and follow me to a location about one mile away on an easy access gravel road to pick up the truck almost immediately received a text with a case number 3:48 Received text indicating 4:47 tow truck arrival time 4:35 unknown call from Cincinnati Ohio; didn't recognize; didn't answer 4:36 Message from Thomas in Cincinnati wanting to know if the road was graveled so they could select a truck that wouldn't get stuck, left a totally worthless call back number 4:41 Call back number did not connect me with Thomas; gave me irrelevant information about four offices in Cincinnati 4:43 Call back to AAA original contact number; reported the problems I was having; representative claimed truck from Olson's Towing was 20 minutes out. 5:21 Received a call from Olson's Towing driver requesting information about the where the truck was located and what the road to access it was like; Told him to meet me at my address and follow me on a good gravel road to my truck 6:00 Olson Towing driver arrived and followed me to the disabled truck 6:25 Truck loaded and on it's way to local repair facility. Why the need for redundant information is beyond me. Speaking of beyond, AAA Road side Service is FUBAR on its best days! Will not renew my membership. State Farm offers roadside assistance without mileage limitations at a much lower cost. Stay away from these clowns! I'm planning on posting this information wherever I can to inform customers just how great AAA is.

We were never called with an estimate nor okayed the cost BEFORE they did work on my car. When we did call for updates they gave us estimates 2x saying the work would be $1600ish. When we got there to pick it up it's almost 1900! Their "credit" solution is a joke and they did NOT care that it put us in a hardship.
