There is an English menu available online but not in the restaurant. Here's where I get confused. The service is excellent, full white tablecloth treatment, old-school European style. No detail is missed. Then we get to the food. It's really pretty good, all told. Here's where the attention to details goes sideways. The bread rolls felt as if they had been sitting since yesterday. The beans, although delicious, had sat around on the plate long enough to be room temperature and develop a crust. The totopos stuck in the beans were in the beans long enough to get soggy. The rice served alongside the moles was barely above room temperature and a bit dried out. All the food, in general, needed to arrive from the kitchen much warmer. Essentially, anything that could be made ahead of time was, and then left sitting out. It doesn't fit and I don't get it.

The one with the sautéed onions and sauce? Man I wish I would've asked what it was called because it was damn good. We also ordered a bottle of wine - cab/syrah blend and it was exquisite. Easily a top ten wine. So good that it has inspired a trip to the wine region in Baja California! If I come back to Puebla, this is for sure my first stop. Absolutely incredible.

My DW ordered a "tres" tacos dish, she loved it also. The desert was out of this world - both flan and cheese cake, so we requested the pastry chef for a curtain call, telling her how appreciative we all are of her culinary creations. Now I would like to share a few points when it comes to paying your bill in Mexico (It actually worked the same way at CDMX or Puebla). First of all your will be asking the waiter - "terminal por favor". He or she will bring the card reading machine to your desk (you don't want to give your credit card to process it in the back room, aka in the USA) and do the transaction just before your eyes. Second - You will be asked "propina" - tip, here it goes "diez por ciento" - 10% is a customary and reasonable tip in the Mexico. Granted this is for Spanish speaking waiters, but I was having fun anyway - even if I knew that waiter speaks English. I strongly recommend this restaurant, if anybody will be in Puebla or San Pedro Cholula area.
