One thing that was very kind that they did was the allowed us to stay to watch a soccer game on their big screen TV. And we didn't have to order a whole lot. The waiter that had us was a bit presumptuous, and his joke of guessing who could speak Spanish, and pointing out that I could not when I could. But I allowed him to make the comments and have the conversation because I like listening he took upon himself to tell me what type of drink I would like, and when I went to enter, Jack walked off to make it. So when he brought it back, I kindly told him in Spanish that I don't like drinks with pulp. the lobster risotto is underwhelming. It looks very great and is plated very well with the taste is not there for me. The tacos were amazing and the drink that I photographed was the one I ordered. The drink was good, everyone enjoyed their food. Minus the bland risotto

Their doubles are served more like quadruples yay them! My fiancé appreciated his whiskey pour. BEST CEASER SALAD I HAVE EVER TASTED. Our appetizer was great (the name was funny so not sure) it was Argentinean cheese on the grill with baguette and tomato. I've never tasted any cheese like this, my fiancé thought it was chicken. Did I say they have the BEST CEASER SALAD EVER (add the chicken it's delicious). Oh and I'm normally not a fan of ceaser. However full disclosure, the dressing is made like it was created, oil, egg, dijon and anchovies (no you can't taste the anchovies)! The burger was just the icing on the cake - chef's kiss x 100!

It is so welcoming and the staff are so nice. The menu is all fresh ingredients, and organic or natural mezcals and wines. I really liked the Tartar de Cecina Yacapixtla, and the last mezcal on the menu (the name escapes me). It is more or less similar menu prices to the US, but I think the space and presentation are worth the higher cost. The chef is also there to answer any questions about the menu. Much of the staff speaks English, and they are patient if you try to speak Spanish as a foreigner! I did not order a cocktail, but they looked fancy and delicious. If you are around, give it a try!

Chatted one of the owners briefly and apparently the cocktails were created by a partner who used to create the cocktail menu for Pujol. Seems like it would be a really fun spot on the weekend. They also have Negroni Wednesday but sadly we're leaving tomorrow! Will definitely come back next time we're in Roma Norte.
