Avoid Rick's Mechanical Repairs! I had a service done…read more20,000kms ago through Rick's, I was told this basic oil change would be $200-$250 and was charged $350. I've just done my own service and went to replace the air conditioning filter they had installed, it's rectangular so there is only one way it could possibly be installed, yet they even screwed that up. So for the past 20,000kms dirt and debris have been sucked through the fan motor directly into the cabin! I just hope it had not ruined the motor. They also said they would replace my wiper blades free of charge, I told them not to as my factory blades were in perfect condition. They replaced the blades anyway, with the wrong ones! So I had to drive around for weeks waiting for them to get in the factory wiper blades from Toyota. Please do your research before going to do called professional mechanics.

Enter through the service station and nip down the side alley - just behind the car yard, you'll find Ashley. This is the place all the staff from the ABC (and I'm sure other businesses in the area) have their cars serviced - trust me I went to Ashley for years when I worked there. I don't have a mechanical bone in my body so I wouldn't know if I needed new brakes, an oil change or my car just needed a clean and that's why I need a good mechanic. If you're looking for an honest, hard working mechanic who will service your car promptly and not charge you for a lot of unnecessary work, go and visit Ashley. You won't regret it.
