TLDR: rude, unprofessional, and will do fraudulant charges and then lie about what they stated…read more The instructor is so nice during the trial class and then magically forgets how to treat kids after that. Every class the instructor comes up to me and tells me what he did wrong in class, which I appreciate the opportunity to work with my son in addressing issues so no problem there, but the last straw of his attitude was when he took his belt away, I asked what my son was doing because I was actually watching and for the first time mine wasn't being out of line and his response with a snark said "he's just being Ty" well i can't work on anything with him if you won't tell me but the attitude is very telling of how you feel about my autistic child, mild but that doesn't matter, and he still feels your attitude because children are very intuitive. Either way, I've never met a 4 year old that doesnt wiggle. Another day before class the instructor addressed my son and i said "it's not an excuse but he hasn't slept more than 4 hours at a time in the last 2 weeks so it's a little rough" and the instructor literally told me "that's a home issue, give him nyquil" to a 4 year old. When we signed up the paper states $200 termination fee if leaving before 6 months but I was told in person by the lady in charge "but I don't charge that for kids because they change their mind a lot" no I didn't add an addendum the paper because I had a fussy nursing baby so no hands to write entire sentences. She charged it anyways to a card they didn't have permission to use but I used it in their business once to buy his uniform and pay the start up fee, and she tried the approved card first but it was declined because it was stolen recently. she sent a link when we signed up for future monthly payments that were to be charged on a completely DIFFERENT card and permission was revoked in writing to use original card they had on file. She's now saying the contract wasn't notated and initialed, either way you should stick to your word and not lie, but also verbal agreements are binding in the state of Texas.

We've been at this school for several months and are highly satisfied with the class structure,…read moreinstruction, and staff knowledge and methods. The owner, Coach Dondi is a great combination of fun yet strict, which is so good for the kids. They enjoy their training and progress well in their skills. The classes, which can be quite large, have good discipline. We highly recommend this school if you're interested in your child (or yourself) gaining strength and skills that will benefit them for a lifetime.

Let me start with "we love Mr.Ayala" So we started looking for a place for my 12years to go. I…read morerecently been taking kick boxing and I took him to my gym once and he loved it but he was too young to join my gym. He showed great interest in punching those bags! So I looked around and found Paulie's gym. We walked in on a rainy Wednesday night, and he was there training some people. He greeted us and ended up talking to us for an hour. Mr.Ayala is very attentive, and it showed that he wants the best for your child. He's always in the gym when the kids are there; training them, helping them with their forms and just very involved. Now in the kids class it's literally kids of all ages: from 6 all the way to 17. And they work them hard, so don't think you can slack around here. If you have kids that needs discipline bring them here also. Can't say enough about Paulie!

This place is unlike your typical boxing gym. I have been boxing since undergrad and have boxed in…read moremany different gyms around the country and this stands out in terms of size (most gyms are very crowded and this is a huge space) and support (all one hour classes throughout the day you get to work with Paulie himself with the gloves in the ring) amd overall warm atmosphere (all the fighters there are kind and fast on giving advice and helping out beginners and intermediate amd advanced boxers). There is zero intimidation factor here. So if you are beginner, this.is great place to start, if you are advanced amd need a trainer, Paulie will get you to next level. It truly is one of the top boxing gyms in the country in my opinion!

They know who walks in and out. Diversity, Everyone Was Here!!! Working together. Complete social distancing and masks. It was the seed and my first class, we were greeted promptly, people introduced themselves and made us feel at home, and helped us with our moves too. The trainer Malachai, comes from an amazing background. Hes trained the best of the best and has an amazing one on one and group self defense course. Amazing for women, real estate agents, businesses, etc. The trainer was also patient and fast paced. How, idk...but he showed us what to do and came back to it. The class is 45min and I never sweat....I did today!!! I enjoyed everything about the space. My son had a good time too. Make sure to book online for classes. Spaces are limited. Also, checking in gets you a little discount on these already inexpensive classes. Boxing is such a great workout, but they have other classes too if that's not for you. My wife decided to take advantage of their family plan herself and began working out with the kids in November. After breaking her leg and dislocating her ankle last year, she's recovering and strengthening her ankle. The environment is so encouraging and empowering. The coaches strike a great balance between pushing you to go a bit further than you did the time before and allowing you to listen to your body to avoid overdoing it. We highly recommend Keller boxing club!
