Way Over Priced for a simple oil change. 280$ for an oil change. I highly recommend not to get an oil change there and do your research for service elsewhere. Always ask for the price before getting service done, and that was my mistake. Never again. read more

Malcolm Hall just now-Edit The service department is a scam. Took my bike in here with an overheating problem. Took them a week to change the thermostat which they said was the problem. That cost me over $1,000.00 but they said everything was now working fine. After a couple of rides I found it was still overheating so took it back. Now they said it was an air leak in a coolant hose. That took a week and $300.00. But they said that they had not found the problem and wanted to change the sensors and head gasket for another $1400.00. I told them to get stuffed and took the bike home and repaired it myself. I wrote a letter of complaint and spoke personally to the owner. He promised to look into it and get back to me. He did not bother. I will never go back here again even for parts. Buyer beware. This was my review 4 years ago and have never gone back there for service. Not even to buy oil. Many of my friends and aquaintances in the bike world have told me their horror stories from this company so they have not changed their ways. The service department will re build your bike while they try to resolve the problem. So if you have deep pockets you can help keep them in business. But I will continue to stay clear. read more

Worst staff ever horrible managers they tried to charge me $15000. For an xr 650 which was listed at $4800 back in 09. So I left and bought a suzuki dr 650 for $8000 I was there recently trying to get help with a bike but all they did was lie to me over the phone and pretend not to recieve my emails. Someone higher up needs to go there and weed out there sales team what a horrible place I would not recommend it to anyone its by far the worst motorcycle dealer in ottawa. Took my bike there for servicing. They said it would be about 3 to 4 days. Got my bike back two and a half weeks later. Got a big bill, but I expected that as there was allot of servicing that needed to be done. Paid my bill and was pulling out of the parking lot and something in my head told me to stop and have a look at the obvious things that I had just paid for. This is when I noticed that the new front tire that I had just paid for along with an environmental fee etc was not on my bike! Rear tire, yes, front tire no. I had heard bad things about this shop..could be an honest mistake or not.....I wondered if I hadn't caught it for a few days what would they have said??? Will try another place next time. read more

We took our boat there in October 2019 to get the engine inspected for a possible sale. No, we didn't make an appointment when we went on Monday but the guy said he would be able to fit us in no later than Wednesday. After repeated calls and many excuses, we picked up our boat on the Friday and it had not been touched. Our boat isn't winterized and we store it indoors, but they thought leaving it outside in a rain/wind storm was a bright idea. Definitely not the sharpest knives in the drawer. Some training in customer service and overall professionalism might help them out a bit, but not much. Will NEVER be going back. Do not waste your time! They almost cost us a sale with their laziness and poor excuses. read more

The Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council (OMVIC) took my complaint and found the contract to be void. They ordered Powersports Canada to refund the deposit and it should arrive soon. read more

Bought a used motorcycle from them a few years ago. I negotiated what I thought was a good deal, shaving about $700 off of their asking price. Paid my deposit and when I went to pick the bike up, suddenly $700 in admin fees appeared on my bill. To their credit, they didn't put up too much of a fight when I insisted that admin fees were for new bikes and these were not a part of our agreement. They relented and honored my agreement after about 10 minutes of "discussing this with the boss". The bike itself is still really good and I do my own service, so this review is about used bike sales only. read more

I will never buy anything from Powersports in Ottawa ever they have the worst sales staff who make up prices and then when it goes to financing they have no idea of the price given and no one knows anything every time i called it was one moment i don't know i have to talk to so and so and then still not know an answer then will take a 100 dollars from you to see if you get approved or not an d then not let you know if you don't like the deal we are keeping you 100 dollars in despite so i do not rec commend anybody buying anything from this dealership and for such a large one boy they can not give you a deal or they can but not when you go to pay read more

The worst purchasing experience I have ever had out of about 12 or 13 motorcycles that I have owned. This time I was trying to buy a Honda. I found the sales management folk to be uninformative, non communicative, disconnected and unhelpful and finally aggressive and unpleasant. I traded my KLR650, and paid the difference for the new bike. Unfortunately, I could not find my MTO ownership details for the KLR although I could find my purchase documentation (from a dealer). I was there from 1:30 pm today, and for about 2 hours yesterday buying the bike, and they could have just contacted MTO and sorted it all out easily, but at about 5:30 pm today after two trips home in peak hour traffic to try and find it they tell me they'll have to contact MTO TOMORROW and I cant take the bike that I've paid for, home. This after spending a total of about 4-5 hours in the shop. When the sales manager read the mechanics report, he immediately said (verbatim quote) "The chain is worn out". In actual fact the chain is an expensive O ring chain and both sprockets were replaced about a month ago, they'd be lucky to have done 500 klms. Then the engine had a 'funny' noise. This implied to me that Powersports have limited credibility in the mechanical department, and maybe were just looking for a reason to chop down the price. How can you be so wrong about a new chain? The sales manager accused me of trying to fraudulently (his word) sell a motorbike! Which was weird. Then I said I wanted to back out of the deal as it was becoming too much of a hassle he wouldn't let me. He even tried to say that I needed to pay about $500 for 'setup' or whatever they call it for the new bike. Even though the sale document only showed a charge of $109 for this. I felt this was sneaky and probably not the way that Honda want to be represented. The worst and weirdest purchasing experience I've ever had. I'd try Kanata Honda if you're in Ottawa and looking for a Honda, it surely can't be worse. On a good note though I cant wait to get the bike and be done with Powersports tomorrow, Apparently the weather will be great this weekend! read more

Bought a new Honda CBR 300 and am so impressed with the sales staff and all the people who made sure I could get into this bike with a very fair deal. Kudos to the folks in the service department who really take care of their customers. the accessories people take the time to make sure whatever you purchase is the right fit and the right piece of gear you need for your ride! This is a hard review to write because the front sales guys have always been awesome for me, the service however... This review is largely based on a bad experience with that dept. I bought a bike just about 2 years ago, as I said, sales guys were great! Few weeks ago I had an issue with my bike that after doing a little bit of research appeared to be similar to an issue that Honda was aware of and other owners had fixed under warranty, so I dropped my bike off to have them investigate a few days before leaving the country for 2 weeks. When I dropped it off I explained to the guy all about the symptom and about the research I had done and mentioned that if they could check with Honda to find out if this was then same issue or not and that they had lots of time since I was away for 2 weeks. As it turns out, none of this was noted down. Long story short, I had to fight and make far to many phone calls over several days (because they failed to call me after promising to do so) to the service department and service manager to even get them to speak with Honda. It felt to me as if they assumed I was lying, stupid or just didn't care. Of course after finally calling Honda about the issue, which I asked for from day 1, Honda confirmed they know about this issue and to proceed under warranty. The level, or lack of, customer service I experienced was pitiful. I don't understand how there can be such a huge disconnect from the quality of service in the front of house to the back. The general manager should really consider this a big problem as the service department is what maintains repeat business. I bought from them based on the sales team, now I am very, VERY reluctant to return or recommend them based on the after sales service. read more

Probably my worst experience ever. I would give them Zero Stars if possible... I am or was a repeat customer. I had purchased a Ducati 1200S stripe ($20K) from these guys just last year and wanted to trade it in for another Xdiavale ($24K)... I was dealing with Lxxx and Chxxs ... Second bike in one year!!! and this is what happened: I went in and told Lxxx who I dealt with last year that I wanted to trade my bike for xDiaval S. I also told him what I was willing to pay along with my bike which is in excellent condition and maintained by them, as trade. I also had a quote from a dealer in Montreal that I had emailed him earlier. I wanted to ask for the same deal which I knew was going to be tough to beat. Since Lxxx cant make any decisions on his own, he went to talk to Chxxs who in my opinion is by far the worst manager ever and not someone to be trusted at all !!! not only that he is down write rude and awkward to say the least, not sure how he was made manager of anything. Last year he told me if you buy a Ducati from somewhere else they will not service it as they would give preference to people who bought the bike from them !!!! they are Ducati dealers for God sake !!! anyway I did not pay much attention to it at the time.... so after giving me a number which was the listed price he started bad mouthing the dealers in Quebec and how they play bait and switch i.e. advertise one price and when you go in they would change it etc. which I ignored ... After listening to him I said Ok lets make a deal here and since I am repeat customer maybe he could give me a better deal ... so I asked him what is the best he can do for me. His response was that he does not want to put a number forward and wanted me to give him a number. So I gave him a number to this he said "Well are you willing to put down money Now" I replied "well I can come in the morning and finish the transaction" he said that well he will close the deal in the morning... my understanding from this conversation was that he is OK with my offer since he did not say anything regarding the price. I told him and Lxxx who was in the same room and listening to the full conversation, that I will be back in the morning to make the deposit. So in the morning, I went back as I had said, to pay them, however, to my utter surprise Lxxx told me NO NO the price was never final and he will have to ask his boss again ... I said WHAT!!! I was AMAZED and reminded him of last nights conversation... he just flatly refused to acknowledge that this ever happened!!!! I was SHOCKED to say the least so I told him go and ask your boss and if you guys will not honor your deal from last night!!! I will not be buying this bike at all from you... he said ok and went to talk to his boss (Chxxs was not there) so he came back and said that well his boss called Chxxs and he said he never agreed to the price !!!! Flabbergasted and frustrated I just said thank-you and walked right out... never to go back again EVER!!!!! In my opinion since these guys have a monopoly on Ducatis in Ottawa they try to get away with this kind behavior and that is all.... it is too bad really, I love Ducatis and would have bought another one this year... but because of these dishonest and rude sales people I am now probably going to be buying something else or perhaps go to Montreal to buy one there.... Ducati will lose many customer if they dont take notice of this ... I will be letting everyone know who I ride with to avoid these guys like a plague...!!! the ironic thing is that Chxxs was saying that the dealers in Quebec do this bait and switch and he pulled the same thing on me!!!! read more
