Jacquelyn Swanson was the lead painter on our paint job in Bloomington, Indiana and she was nothing short of amazing! From the beginning, Jacquelyn listened and worked with us to find the right paint color (which involved identifying the color, slugging tons of paint cans to our house, and testing them out after painting our house). Then, she worked with us to identify, every step of the way, how to paint the house. Her attention to detail, work ethic, and ability to support her crew and make sure they were on task and safe while checking in with us was extraordinary! It was such a joy to work with Jacquelyn Every day, Jacquelyn arrived early and stayed late to oversee our house project and to make sure that every little detail was handled. She also generously took the lead on extras like painting the step of our 3-season porch, screwing in our gutters, and power washing our sidewalks -- which made a phenomenal difference. Before he began with me he consulted with me and wanted to make sure he understood exactly what I wanted done. He even gave me some very helpful ideas to consider. One very important thought I had not considered was the type of paint to be used and why. He explained to me that not all paints are the same, such as interior versus exterior and their differences. His many years of experience allowed me to make an informed decision on the value of the paint to use. If I had a problem in one area, his many years of experience proved to be valuable in helping me understand how to solve my problem. Before he began to paint, he prepared the area to be painted paying attention to detail and covering everything to insure that there is no overspray or errant paint would contact valuable items or furniture. When finished he also would clean up and discard any trash not wanted. The job is not done until the area was cleaned up and the work performed was inspect and approved by me. I have 8 apartments and would not hesitate to call on Shane whenever I need painting done since I could depend on him to do what I needed done correctly and it would increase the value of the property.

Corey, the owner of Remmy's, installed R-38 insulation in my 30-year old home. He is a true…read moreprofessional that really knows his craft. He installs measuring sticks throughout the attic to assure that the adequate depth of insulation is installed. As verification of the work, photos of the installation are shown to the home owner. He discovered that a bathroom vent hose was disconnected so he repaired this while he was in the attic. I would definitely use Remmy's again for any insulation work.
