The theater, in general, was clean but pretty small. The auditorium seats are close but comfortable enough. The crowd on this particular night was a much older crowd who laughed at everything, which added to an enjoyable experience. The six person cast ranged from pretty darn good & funny to OK, but no one was horrible. All and all it was a nice local theater and a good place to spend an evening out.

We just experienced a wonderful production of "How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying"…read more The cast all had terrific vocal abilities as well as dancing abilities. The live orchestra was spot on with the music. It was amazing to watch the actors freeze their action spread throughout the stage while another cast member sang and danced a solo. Excellent direction by Mike Cavalier and his choreography were key reasons this cast performed so well. The auditorium sound system and lighting director added to our entertaining evening. A clever set design used elevators, swinging doors, and even speedy scene changes to quickly change from various offices, street scenes and the mail room. Excellent work. Totally entertaining and very professional!

The performances were great as was the set design, sound, etc. The theater is a nice size. There is a decent size parking lot adjacent to the main building plus plenty of overflow parking close by. They had a concession area and gift shop set up in the lobby for snacks and show related keepsakes. This is a great local theater venue and cannot wait to bring the kids back.

It was always such a treat to wear our pjs in public and bring a pillow and blanket in the car! We would always try our best to stay awake for the second movie, but would be lucky if we did. This place also hosted a benefit when I was in high school for a local girl and it was a great location. They also do birthday parties, etc. and host laser tag onsite.

While yes they put on grand shows with amazing sets and costumes, they lack a good work ethic and environment for the cast. The behavior of many people even adults working on shows is childish and unprofessional. I expected to come to this theatre and not have people on the board for the theatre to be gossipy and rude. I hope if I ever audition for another show at this theatre it has a better environment for the cast and people working on the show. I wish the best of luck for the people of this theatre and their future with any shows.

With that said, what Fear Forest has going for it is atmosphere and good actors. The hayride is always fun, although I feel like last year was a bit better for some reason. My wife and I went again this year on Halloween night with a friend and we choose to do all 4 events. Even the hayride seemed a tiny bit lacking compared to last year (maybe because not many people want to work halloween night especially on a Friday night) the mazes were fun and the actors did a good job. The cornmaze was our favorite. The atmosphere, weather, sounds, and lights were perfect for a fun maze of scares. I passed a Scarecrow actor and liked his mask, I said aloud, "that's an awesome mask and I can't make to make my own", and he pulled me aside and stood in front of a light so I can take a photo with my phone for reference. Small, but very nice thing to do, and I sure appreciated that. Very cool guy. Thanks again, man. Will we go again next year? Hm. Absolutely. See you next year, Fear Forest! 9.4/10 P.s. Dress warm. My wife and friend were freezing, but i over did it and actually became too hot but I'd rather be hot and take off layers than freezing with no way to get warm LOL
