At 8:00 in the morning. I called Lee Lyda, and they had a crew out that day. My electric equipment was from the 1940's, so they had to replace a lot. I also allowed them to replace the feed-in, as it was trashed. They were kind enough to allow me to pay over time, as I have lived here a long time, and they knew my parents. YMMV. They were polite, decent, professional, and fast - had it done by 3 PM. I would recommend them to anybody.

The house is older (1930s) and…read moreservice is old, etc. So, they did an update on the line to get it working properly for the detached garage. There were no suggested big ticket fixes for it, just a solid assessment of what was there and how to bring it up to the needed spec for the new e-car charger. Billing was easy. Pricing was fair. Service was prompt. Hard to ask for more.

Junaluska Electrical…read more Junaluska Electrical was contracted by our builder to do the complete electrical for our new home. From day one, Dan was wonderful to have on site. He was professional, did what he promised when he promised, and did it well. Our builder turned out to be very unscrupulous and caused many wasted hours for all of our subs, but Dan didn't complain and he continued to do excellent work. When the Builder unexpectedly pulled out and departed our unfinished job, never to return, Dan was professional enough to continue to finish the project with us. Dan was also much more aware of codes than the builder, and he was the one who got us to completion - again having to take on tasks that were not his responsibility. We are very grateful that Junaluska Electrical was contracted to do our job, and that Dan was assigned to us. I do not know what we would have done without him! The owner had me running all over town trying to get parts and…read moreaccessories right before a big storm (Fern) that was expected to hit right on the day of the job. I told him why I needed to rearrange the electrical system in my house. The purpose for the indoor work was to hook-up a power generator and getting it up and running outside. He didn't tell me in advance what accessories I'd need to buy. I was charged for his time waiting for me to get the items. It was very frustrating because the stores didn't have what I needed and I had to drive all over town searching for it. I would not recommend doing business with them without first getting a written statement for all the work they plan to do and all of their charges in advance. Also, one of their workers spilled gasoline all over and I had to pay twice to fill my generator. He charged me almost $2,000 when his estimate was for only $1,000. He acted like hooking up a generator is not his job as an electrician, yet a handyman would not have known what to do because this required specialized knowledge, something only a licensed electrician would be qualified to know and do the job correctly and safely.
