The gym also quickly pivoted to offering Zoom classes at the beginning of the pandemic and continues tp offer one live Zoom every day along with sending out a recording. All of the equipment gets cleaned after each class and members have their own "square" to stay distanced during class. Another great aspect of the gym is that you get to know people on a personal level which makes coming to class something to look forward to.

I've been going here for most of the last two years, and have been debating doing a review because…read moreI want to call it 3 stars, but because it's my gym I was feeling like I should bump it up to 4. But, that's not fair. There are cheaper gyms out there, that are half price or less just for a membership to walk in the door. And they have a more updated facility with more fans and better AC. Sooooo, I go here for the classes, because accountability helps me show up. But it's hot and dated and it's frustrating. It's especially frustrating because I've been to the Glastonbury location that looks newer and more up to date, AND I just learned they are getting a renovation!!!! Perhaps if this place didn't look so dated, more folks would want to join. But, location, location, location. There was a fabulous coach I started with almost two years ago that I loved and really knew his stuff and talked us through accountability with eating and which muscle groups we were working on in each class, and the correct form to do each exercise. He got me hooked. He is the reason I joined and now the location is just so convenient that I've stayed. But they need to make some changes to be as good as they can be and to get more folks in there. Especially now that there's a new stoplight right there to get in and out to and from the Berlin Turnpike rather than making a u-turn like I've been doing for years. I hope someone reads this listens, before I go elsewhere once my one year plan is up.

They have a very good program and are genuinely interested in helping you get stronger and healthier. I worked mainly with Sheila as my trainer. I just loved her. She was so energetic and passionate even at 7:30 pm!! Even though I was her last client at the end of a long day, she treated me like her first. I have some injuries and limitations and she was really good about being mindful of that yet still pushing me. And she would even get down and do the more heinous (but good for you!) core and leg exercises right along with me! Not just demonstrating, actually doing them! So o felt very motivated and also like we were in it together. This type of training is a little on the pricier side, it's true.
