I reached out to Power Up Electric which was one of three companies that I reached out to many other companies wanted to nickel and dime me just to come see what I needed to be worked on and consulted for. power up electrical reached out came on their own time and consulted me for free they said they can do the work right now if I wanted to get it done they quoted me a great reasonable price and started the work to replace a less powerful outlet with a new powerful outlet same day ,they went through my basement added new electrical box breaker, to handle the added power, they also stayed to do a power check and test on the whole house system. After the windy rain storm, we had a partial electrical outage. 2 of the AFCI circuit breakers flipped. Probably from moisture that got in. Contacted a few other electricians who wanted to replace with "regular" not AFCI breakers. Plus they quoted labor plus the AFCI or regular breakers, but without explaining why I couldn't get the same Afci replaced. I also asked if they would check my outlets (To find if there was more issues) - they all wanted an additional hourly fee to do 5 minutes of work! Finally Izet said he would check the outlets after he changed the circuit breakers. He asked for photos of the AFCI that I had. He pointed out the problem to fix to avoid a next time. I asked if I needed to upgrade my panel & gave me an explanation of why I didn't need it. Flat fee for his work, I am satisfied! read more

We were replacing our Miele built-in oven with a new one (same manufacturer) and were surprised to discover our existing oven operates on 20 Amp current where as the new oven requires 30 Amp. We had a free consultation with Izet to talk through the options including looking for a diff oven to match the 20 Amps in which case they would only need to install an outlet. That showed honesty. After exhausting that, we decided to keep the new oven and went ahead and hired them to install new wiring from our electric panel to the oven. They also had to install a new outlet for the four-pronged plug (old oven was hired wired). Izet and his partner completed everything with minimal impact to our walls (only one spot), and ran approximately 25 feet of new wire. They also kept the old wires intact. They were well prepared, protected working area, and and were on top of things. I highly recommend them and I will hire them again. read more

BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! I thought he was a good electrician with the reviews. He was supposed to come install dryer outlet on Monday, then didn't show up. I waited for hours. I move all the furniture and stuff. Next few days,Then out of the blue text me he is available on short notice when he canceled on me earlier. I went to work when he cancelled on me that morning, I text back I can't he thought I was being mean for not being able to make it, I dont work from home, so I cant open the door for him. He take it as offense that I wont allow him to do it when he got short opening. I texted him the electrician back that can we reschedule. Every text OH I AM BUSY, I AM BUSY this happened weeks after weeks. Turn out he was just upset with me the whole time making all those excuses. I waited for weeks for him to reschedule with me, so I never look for anyone until I realized he is retaliate for rescheduling before. Now he is upset with me about the review. I am just being honest. You dont get even with customers especially, its unintentionally I am not home and you are available on short notice, that's just bad business. He acted like a child the whole time, I asked if we can reschedule next week instead to him its a slap on the face. I think he should learn to be a reliable electrician, professional and dont hold grudges to people who cant do on his schedule, because its just plain wrong! read more
