He confirmed the outlet was indeed getting power, and that the box needed to be adjusted. It was a quick 30 minute fix (maybe less than 30 minutes but I got some educational incite from him). Glad I went with Hagan Electric to fix this. A previous electrician from Mister Sparky Electric claimed the outlet needed to be rewired and was not getting any electricity. The Mister Sparky Electric guy charged $400 to tell my HOA: "Resident has square D panel which complies with today's standards. No need to change panel." All he did was look at the panel that day. Maybe 15 minutes to say what kind of panel it was and charged $400. Anyways- beware of going to certain companies to have electrical work done. Hagan Electric seems like a good one. The job I had today was pretty simple.

The hardware they had (type of light switch) was the type I hoped and it matched what we needed, whereas another company used different parts that were less appealing. They said that if the parts had any premature issues that they would replace them within a 2-year window from installation. I believe it was Elijah who assisted us. He came in and already had shoe covers on his shoes to protect our floors, which was nice. He quickly and efficiently replaced both of our light switches and also answered a few questions we had about various other potential electrical projects. We would hire them again for future electrical needs.

This is my 2nd review for Dican Electric. I called Daniel to replace my Sylvania Zinsco circuit…read morepanel box (with permit) because it is widely considered a severe fire & safety hazard. Daniel and his young son (another future electrician) showed up and performed a full panel replacement so my electrical circuit panel box can now pass City code inspection without risk of fire. Yay! This was no small job, and entailed disconnecting and removing the old circuit breakers and cutting a larger hole in the sheetrock to replace; then patch up. Daniel took care of filing the permit with the City. As usual, the job was done professionally, meticulously, and for a very fair price that no other electrical company can beat. If you are in need of a certified electrician, I highly recommend using this independent family business. I highly recommend Dican Electric to all of my neighbors, family and friends.

Great communication, and our project was finished today. Very fair pricing. We will be using him next year for a bigger renovation project, and possibly to upgrade our panel. I like working with smaller, local businesses. I have already recommended him to a friend.
