The guy noticed my furnace and wanted to check it out, and he said it's old and it's not safe to have it on especially with a newborn baby. So he shut off our heat. I called my grandma and she recommend Premiere Mechanical after I mentioned furnace and said Scot is amazing and a honest man. We both called him, but since it was a holiday (New Years day) we both left a message. But he called me right back and said he is able to come out the next day which was also a holiday to come give me a quote. I was very impress how quick he was able to come out and able to give me a quote on a holiday. Also he was able to get my new furnace installed the next morning for me while I was at work. I called my grandma to see if it was okay if I wasn't home for him and the installers to be there while I wasn't home and she said absolutely. I trust my grandma. So I left the door unlock and he said they will lock up when they were done. When I got home around 530 it was nice to finally come home to a warm house! We will be needing a new air conditioning unit soon and I will definitely be calling these guys!

They two guys had my issue diagnosed in about 20 min and had the new part installed in another 20 so total here was less than a hour. Very thankful they got here so quickly but I think I paid a premium for it.

After having a dryer repair completed and asking about excessive lint in the laundry closet, I was…read moreadvised by the tech that the dryer vent in the wall was bent and needed to be fixed by "a vent guy." I found Todd's name on yelp and sent him a text. He responded quickly and easily able to come the same day. He replaced the piece of damaged vent in the wall, which was no easy task, and replaced the flex that connected to the dryer with a sturdier vent hookup. He also vacuumed a ton (only a slight exaggeration) of lint from the back of the dryer and washer, the floor and walls of the closet. He also cleaned the vent leading up to the roof. He's meticulous in his clean up and his explanations of what he's doing and why. He's definitely top notch in what he does. If you want it done right, call Todd.

I am so relieved having found Kevin Manz. He put in exactly the furnace I asked for, a Heil. 95%…read more His price was great. Of the six people I called he was the last one in and the first to write up the estimate. He didn't insist I replace a working air conditioning unit. I went through hell wIth Poorman's years ago they gave me an 11k estimate on a 620 square foot house. They made up nonsense that my basement ceiling was too short and the only unit they could sell me was an institutional grade model! BS! I called so many places, that most would only work on their installations. Doc Dancers price structure and Maintenance practices were really unfair to the bottom. I'd lost all faith in Trane and Bryant. There is no need to pay for all that nonsense advertising. Heil is an old USA company since 1929, they were swallowed by sears and whirlpool and later bought by Carrier. They are "generic" and easy to work on and have a 20 yeaar warranty. My advice is go with an entrepreneur you can build a relationship with. Like the tv repair man used to be in the 1980s. Go corporate and get a trainee, and get moped up, or go small with an artist who stands proudly beside his own work. Kevin is no nonsense. I trust him. I recommend him. Go Manz. Glad to have my faith restored in HVAC. Thank you, and Frank too, the silent sage.
