I can't tell how much I love this place! This is the second time for me (and, once for a friend who's car glass got broken when we were in a museum) to use them with very little notice! Not only did they ALWAYS have replacement glass, but they were able to do repair with very little advanced notice and very little wait time. Amazing!! Pros: so nice, so efficient, so responsive, open on Saturday, do a GREAT JOB, reasonably priced. And, they vacuumed my entire car!!! Bonus!!! Cons: THERE ARE NONE!!! Use them for your car glass replacement needs!!! read more

Stellar service! Easy to work with (unlike my insurance company!) Super fast repair and great communication. Can't recommend enough!

They had my window in stock. Vacuumed and removed the broken glass from my vehicle. They were professional, fast with quality. They even had tint, if you needed it added. read more

This is a long overdue review from 2020 because I forgot the name of this place till I recently found the receipt in my car. 2020 was the crazy year of toilet paper hoarding, covid, social distancing and much more.. I knew 2020 was going to be crappy year because right before Covid began in February 2020, I had a smash and grab in front of CK's house. I remember it clear as day - it was Super Bowl Sunday. CK and I were driving back from dim sum in his truck and as we drove pass by my car, the passenger window behind my drivers seat was smashed and my work backpack with a notebook inside was stolen. I frantically tried to find a place that was open on Super Bowl Sunday to try and fix it immediately. I don't like the idea of driving with a smashed window. While I frantically called my bosses to let them know my work backpack was stolen (due to PHI), CK started collecting bits of broken glasses on the floor. When I asked him why he was picking them up, he said it's to teach me a lesson the next time I leave things in my car and he will keep the broken pieces to remind me. He really did keep it, cause we ended up finding it when we packed up his things to move out. Smh. Anyways, Power Auto Glass was open and they agreed to take me in same day before 3p. I rushed on over but had to keep my car for an extra 2 days cause they didn't have my window in stock. They were able to fix my window immediately at a good rate, and so thankful that they were open. I felt very anxious at the time it happened and it was my first broken window, so I felt all sorts of emotions. They did a great job and vacuumed all the broken glass in my car with hardly any to be found. Thanks so much for the great work! Lets hope next time I come back under different circumstances. read more

My car windshield was broken and insurance was not an option for me. Jacky answered my call, he was very professional and helpful - he was able to get a free quote and the price was fair. When I showed up he assigned a technician to work on my car immediately and I was very impressed with the pride and work ethic level. I got my windshield replacement installation in less than 2 hours and I will be recording this company to my friends and family. Best in customer service. read more

Jackie & Power Auto Glass are horribly unprofessional -- I'd avoid at all costs. My car had a completely cracked windshield. We needed a full replacement so it was safe to drive. In the meantime we weren't able to drive our 1 year old to daycare, classes, etc. We reached out to Power Auto Glass, they confirmed a time. Day of, I texted to confirm, no answer. After the time window passed, I called. No answer. I then called 3 more times, finally a text "Can I call you later". I replied that I really wanted some info--will they show up at all, what's going on, etc--back to no answer. The entire experience was so appalling I've attached the text messages so you can see for yourself. read more

So even tho my back right passenger triangle was broken and hadn't been replaced since, my driver side window was broken with the intention of getting in to steal my battery. Replacing that to get my car running to get to the window repair shop was f**ksh*t expensive. I was already frustrated. I called this place since it was literally around the corner from me. Guy who answers sounded suspicious of me when I called to explain. "uuuuh...hmm..let's see...well...where are you coming from?" I had to look at the phone I was so confused why he'd ask me this. I give my location. He replies, "Ohhh...you're a local? In that case, I can do it for....$170" In that case? So how do you call your prices, sir? On the spot, depending if you like the sound of someone? You ask everyone where they're from? I don't understand. Methinks: Bad business model. Methinks I'll take my $$ elsewhere. Besides, In & Out Auto on Bayshore came $10 cheaper & they shot me a plug on the price for the triangle window. Bam and bam. Holy bejeezus. read more

I was a victim of a smash and grab and called for a quote and was amazed at it only being 165$ as another company was going to cost me almost 400$! The guys were super nice, had my window done in less than an hour and vacuumed the whole car so thoroughly it was like they were detailing it!!!! Love this place. read more

My car's passenger side glass was repaired fast, super clean and with an American made part which I loved. I'd recommend these guys!

My car was broken into during the night by smashing one of my small windows. Jackie was able to replace it for me before the rain started. Super quick and friendly service. I will definitely be recommending to anyone that needs a car window replacement or repair. read more

This is a great option. I was able to bring my car in same day for a window replacement and it only took an hour!

My car was broken into and this was the first place I called. Jackie, the owner, picked up the phone and said he could fix it for me that same day! I got there around 1, and my car was fixed by 1:45. Not only that, but the guys had cleaned out the car so there were no glass shards and even vacuumed the carpet! I left feeling great and so grateful to Jackie for offering such a quick and painless fix. Thank you guys!!! read more

Called in advance to get a quote and brought my car in on a Monday morning to fix two rock chips. Price was very competitive compared to other highly rated shops in the area, went for a walk, got some coffee at SightGlass coffee and came back in a little over an hour, car was done. I'd been stood up by a couple of those mobile operations so was nice to actually bring my car in to a physical location. read more

The back window was broken as a result of theft, and Power Glass got it repaired the next morning. The job was excellent. Then there was an issue with the incorrect deductible having been charged. Jackie provided outstanding service to get this corrected. I appreciate both the windows replacement job, and the effort to correct the charge. I would use the shop again with no hesitation. read more

The price was right , the service was great and I was out of the shop in 75 minutes with a new window and clean interior .

The street I parked my car on in SF (Folsom between Cesar Chavez and Precita) had about 5 cars with smashed windows on it. Mine was one of them. Watch out folks! Anyway I happened to see my cool neighbor Luis on the street and he recommended Power Auto Glass cuz they were inexpensive and just up the street! I got an appointment for the very next morning and it was fixed within an hour. Very polite and efficient and very convenient to the Mission district! It was about 3x cheaper than the other guy. phew! Thanks Jackie! read more

Technician TAMPERED with my electronic key damaging it and lied about about it. I called Power Auto Glass to fix my broken window. Technician came to my location and fixed my window. The guy literally looked like he rolled out of bed but I honestly didn't care although it wasn't professional and somewhat of a red flag. He went on to fix my window while I waited inside. 30 mins later I paid him my window was fixed and I went inside and came out an hour later to do some errands. As I walked out I dropped my Keys and the whole thing fell apart! This has never happened I picked it up and noticed the chip had come out and where 3 soft plastic buttons were. They were replaced with 2 hard black buttons. I called immediately and told the guy my keys were now fucked thanks to his technician. The technician lied about it and said he didn't do anything with the keys. Of course. It's not like he accidentally broke them because he put in the effort to put in plastic bits so I wouldn't notice right away. A spoke with a locksmith and he said he may have replicated information on my chip. Or maybe he just wanted to steal my buttons I don't know. Now I have to reprogram my key and get a new shell. AVOID this company. They come to your house which I think is great but now I'm worried that they know where I live and have a duplicate key made of my car. Yeah, I'm not kidding. SKETCHY. read more

Filed a claim through my insurance because my car window was broken into and selected Power Auto Glass because of their rave reviews for window repair. Needless to say, they did not disappoint. Within an hour or two, mind you I made the selection in the evening, they called to set up the appointment. The next morning, they arrived at my apartment (saving me the trip to the car shop), fixed my window, and even vacuumed up the broken shards of glass. Power Auto Glass was fast, responsive and they made the process easy and seamless. Highly recommend! read more

hey are very efficient and fast. I talked to several other businesses but only felt comfortable with Jackie. Jackie conversation with me on the phone made me comfortable that they knew what they were doing. I made my appointment and they were ready for me when I arrived. As one employee started to take out the broken windshield, a second employee arrived in a van just after the first employee removed the broken windshield with the new windshield. Perfect timing and coordination. The only thing they were wrong with is that they said it would take about an hour and a half to finish and they were finished in just over one hour . I hope I never have any more broken windows but if I do I will come here immediately. Thanks Jackie and staff. read more

Power Auto Glass - Fast quality service - Windshield Installation & Repair Near Me - San Francisco, California

My car was broken into and the rear side window was shattered. I called Power Auto Glass to get a quote on a Saturday at 10am, and they estimated a technician would come around 11:30am - noon. A technician came earlier than estimated (at 11am), fixed the window, and cleaned up the glass in under 45 minutes! Power Auto Glass was so easy to work with and their rate was very reasonable. I was feeling quite shaken from discovering my car was broken into. Their reliable and quick service was a tremendous help and bright spot of the situation. I would highly recommend their service for any car window repair needs! read more

They came to fix my broken window and ended up DAMAGING my car by leaving scratches on my brand new Mercedes. I am heartbroken. The scratches happened when the worker was attempting to remove glue stain and debris around the window with a cloth. The owner Jacky Fong apologized and insisted in taking responsibility for this through a phone call. I was angry but thought he deserved a chance to make up for his mistake. Unfortunately when I wrote him in email restating his repair plan, he did NOT respond. He has been ignoring my emails and is refusing to respond in writing. I guess this is his way of handling business. Extremely shady and irresponsible. Very frustrated right now because the estimate for fixing these scratches is about $2700. (Almost 7 times the cost of the window repair) The strange thing is he would not send me the invoice for the window installation. Maybe he wants to pretend that he never fixed my car... I am having a horrible experience because of Power Auto Glass even after someone broke into my car and is hoping that my insurance can help me.. I hope that my review could prevent anyone else from having this type of experience. Beware, these people lack morals and do not deserve to be called professional in any way. read more

Highly recommend my friends and family. If I need windows replaced Power Auto Glass is my #1 glass replacement shop.

I have had them replace two windows in two weeks. One was a hard to find quarter glass from the usual SF break in, one was a drivers side window from spontaneous implosion. Both times they have been super fast, communicative, flexible, they came to me, and their prices were significantly better than what Safelite was quoting. The spontaneous implosion happened on a long drive home during a rainstorm. I called Power Auto Glass and they had someone meet me about half an hour after I got home and the window was good as new in under an hour. They're my go to place now. read more

My trip to SF turned sour when my car got broken into on our 2nd day here. It was raining like crazy and the rain was getting into the broken window soaking up my car rapidly. The SF police were dicks and of no help. AAA was even more retarded because we have Southern California coverage and I was in NorCal. They were somehow finding it difficult to assist me outside of my coverage area. At the end of the day, I needed my window fixed and I needed to get it done ASAP. The stupid AAA referred Safelight wasn't going to be able to make it out for 3 days and I was getting super pissed. I came on Yelp and found this place, called them up and they worked out a time for me. We had to wait for the rain to stop first because they can't fix the window when it's wet. Luckily my friend moved stuff out of her garage for me to park my car into. They came on time and fixed my window outside my friend's house -- took them about an hour. They then vacuumed up all the shattered glass inside my car. They didn't stiff me on a price. They had told me what it would cost and stuck to their word. I highly recommend this place if you have any emergency glass work you need to do. They came out on Christmas Eve and got me fixed up and ready to go. I can't imagine what I would do if I didn't have this fixed ASAP. I wouldn't have been able to drive my car out and about in the Bay Area with the heavy rain let alone drive all the way back to the LA area. read more

I've come here twice now, 1 with a smashed drivers side window and again for a chip repair and both times I was met with genuine kindness and professionalism. Way cheaper than other shops I've been to and I was in and out pretty quickly. Thank you! read more

Driver side window was smashed because you know, SF. Anyway, I desperately called a bunch of places and this spot gave me the best price, said I could come by within the hour. Pretty straight forward, told me he'd call me in an hour when it was done so I walked up 24th street to grab food/coffee, browse. Called me exactly an hour later and it was done! I was in and out pretty quick. Without knowing I had already fixed it, I told my group chat friends about my window being smashed and one of them sent me a photo of a place that they recommended and it was this same place! So, I knew I got the best deal and I was able to go about my weekend. read more

I took my car here after the rear window was smashed out by thieves. I didn't expect that they could do it right away, I was just going to get an estimate. But they gave me a very reasonable price, and told me they could do it right away. They said to come back in 60-90 minutes, but I got a call from them in 45 letting me know the work was finished. Not only did the new glass look great, they also did a good job of cleaning up all the broken glass in the back of my car. Highly recommended! read more

I went on a whim looking for a window service that'll do exceptional door to door service as I could not take time off work to get my window fixed. I shopped around and found other businesses with the same price quote, but Jackie's personality & customer service won me over. I left a voicemail before they opened and Jackie gave me a call back first thing in the morning. He told me his technicians would be at my house by 2pm however gave me a call back and said they'd be there earlier. Even better! I couldn't see the final product until I got home and rest assured it came out great! I'm not sure if the window is extra clean or it just doesn't have the same tint as the rest of the windows, but it'll do. Jackie was extremely patient in the million questions I had and all the back and forth calls. Thanks Jackie! read more

They saved us! After a smash and grab in the City, I was having zero luck finding someone that had our window on the weekend. Anyone else notice these are all ONE star or FIVE stars? I know I'm a real person with a real $220 dollar crap windshield replacement. I wonder how many of the five star reviews are actual customers as opposed to the same fake person with different yahoo IDs. My windshield replacement leaks like crazy on two sides into the car even though I had the molding replaced also. Said they would call to schedule someone. Never called. I called, set up an appointment for Saturday between 1:30 and 2:30. We RUSHED home to be home by 1:10. No one showed up. I see by other reviews I am not alone in this problem. Now no one answers the phone. Just try clicking on their website link on this page, that will give you some idea of how this fly by night company works.
