On the statutory question asking if I had ever been refused or rejected entry to Canada or any other country, I answered NO-because that's what my previous agent told me to do. I actually had a U.S. visitor visa refusal, but I was assured it "wouldn't show up" and that Canada wouldn't see it. Surprisingly, my student visa was approved. Later, when I needed to extend my student status, ! applied on my own (DIY). That's when I discovered that Canada and U.S. DO share immigration information. I realized how lucky I was the first time. I was in court and in need of a lawyer I looked around online and found Keda Law and after doing a…read morezoom we agreed to work together on my case. At this time I had already been in this battle for over a year and it was coming to the end all of the real hard work was done and I needed help with the court order and any final settlements. In the zoom we agreed to a retainer of $4000 I paid that and continue to send thousands to them as the agreement I signed said if the money runs out they have the right to stop working on my case and drop me as a client . In the whole 9 months I didn't receive an invoice from my lawyer until the end of the case, 6k was now being asked after I already paid more than double the retainer. Its important to also bring up that the court order that was made was poorly written and a HS drop out poked holes in it one month after it was printed and started using it to make up new rules. I have now been in court for the last year trying to fix the problems that this badly written order has caused me and my family. I have requested a refund of my money only to be told that lawyers don't make court orders the courts do. Wow I wish there was a way I could have had this conversation before taking them on as lawyers because it told me just how incompetent they are and how dumb they think their clients are. I spent an hour on the phone talking to Claude about my case that was handled by Piruthika and the whole time he was trying to use that bad Keda lawyering on me and actually exposed a lot of bad practices that are going on in that firm all in the name of greed. I want my money back as I been back in court this whole time because I have to have this poorly worded order fixed. After a year and asking multiple times they sent me over doctored invoices that didn't even match up with the ones I got at the end of the case. I only got two invoices at the end. When Claude sent them again they have been tampered with DO NOT TRUST THIS FIRM! He was also using AI to record my voice so now that is something else to add to my worries that my voice might be used for something. I would stay away from this firm unless you want a bad lawyer that using child like made up baseless arguments.
