His staff was extremely helpful. Right from the appointment to the billing, everything went very smoothly. Mr. Stephen Shub was friendly, responsive, and knowledgeable. He answered all our questions and helped us overcome some challenges with the seller. He made the whole process easy and enjoyable. We love our new home and we thank Stephen Shub for his amazing service. He is very committed and pays attention to the details. He is very accessible and communicates clearly. He knows the market well and we would definitely use his services again. A friend recommended him to me, and I am very glad she did, I will be sending everyone I know to Stephen Shub from now on! We've had a tough builder recently, and Stephen advocated for us very well, resolving our issues efficiently and effectively, which we very much appreciated. We are very impressed with the closing process, which has been streamlined virtually (in recent days due to Covid), saving us lots of time. Nasheta and her colleagues are also great at keeping up with all the updates and paperwork, and very prompt in responding to us. We also found the services at a great pricepoint which is very competitive. Much appreciate that they do not nickle and dime like some lawyers do, and the prices are extremely competitive. Will definitely go to Stephen and his team for future purchases! :)

They were great initially very quick to respond. However, when it came to closing, my closing was…read moredelayed a day due to their lack of due diligence of ensuring the builder of my new condo build provided the correct master insurance binder letter. Because of this, my lender didn't want to close. The lawyer's office was not proactive in advising me of this issue until I called them to ask when I was getting my keys. They then asked me to provide them with my builders contact info. (Shouldn't they have already had this informaton?!) With only just an hour to close, they were not able to get the corrected binder letter, and then they had the audacity to tell me it was my lenders fault. I did all the closing paperwork and payment a few days before hand, so they had plenty of time to identify they had the wrong information from the builder and could have corrected it in time. After being upset that I didn't close on time, as it was a huge inconvenience to me, I was then told I should not have expected to get my keys on closing day, and that they had previously especially informed me of this. This was a complete outright lie. I was told not to expect my keys before 5pm on closing day. I have several properties and have had multiple closings, and never have I ever been delayed in getting keys especially when the closing should have been as cookie cutter as this with a new condo build.

Of course, you only get the pleasure of speaking with these people when they feel like answering their phones, email, etc. Which is not often, even when communicating through a separate (actually respectable) lawyer. The only person we didn't get to interact with is the man of the hour, Blair rose himself, who is far too important to actually deal with the people he screws over himself. However, from the absurd amount of money he charged for an equally absurdly small amount of work, I can safely say he is just as crooked, disgusting and sadistic as the people who work for him. Anyone planning to use this crook should keep all documents and a record of all communications to make it easier to file a (likely justified) complaint to the Ontario Law Society.
