There is a good size closet and also a safe. The front desk staff is good and has some English skills. The location is directly in the center of one of the nicest south facing beaches in Buzios. The ocean in front of the pousada is easy to swim in, not too rough and gradually deeper so very swimmable. Didn't use the pool as it was not heated, but the beach is there. The pool is just part of the scenery. There is a parking lot - a bit tight so bring the small car. Breakfast was so-so, it is a nice breakfast room but options were carb-focused and limited protein options.

It is right on the beach in Geribá and the pool overlooks the waves and has a swim up bar. The rooms are pretty modern, though nothing luxury. I stayed in one of their 'side ocean view' rooms and it was nice. You get a partial street view but you do see the ocean. There is also a little sauna near the pool that was nice. The staff is very nice and helpful and they offer free breakfast and also free 'tea time' with cakes and coffee and little snacks. Perfect place for someone who wants to wake up in the morning, go for a run on Geribá beach, go for a surf, then relax in the pool and have some drinks.

It is hard to explain the beauty of this Inn and the area. We were hesitant to book originally because the inn only has 4 rooms! This actually made it more intimate and quiet. We ended up meeting the nicest couple who we later rented a private boat with from in town. The Inn over looked Ferradura but was far enough away. We spent a full day exploring the Inn and all it's private little pools, gravity chairs and beach front. We saw sea turtles from our room! The bedroom was large with a king size bed that opened up to the pool area. Each day we had fresh flowers in the bathroom after breakfast. They helped us coordinate taking the bus back to the airport which was extremely easy with the help of the owner and our cab driver. I really hope we will get the opportunity to go back but there are so many other places to explore too! HIGHLY RECOMMEND this location! Stayed January 2016

Beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for anyone or group seeking a nice place to stay in Búzios…read more I was fortunate to stay a few days here while in Brasil and this place spoiled our group for all other hotels and hostels. The neighborhood is quiet and yet still close to a few beaches, I forget their names. Oh, finding the place was very difficult as it was not well marked, so hopefully you don't spend 30 minutes like our group did and eventually had to call the front desk and have them find us! Oh I love Brasil. The rooms are probably nothing special by most people's standards, but they were clean and most had gorgeous views of the nearby hills and the ocean in the distance. My room had a small mini fridge and balcony. Someone else in our group had the top corner room that had the best view. A really good breakfast was served each morning and included homemade items and was some of the best food I ate the whole trip. Eating on the balcony overlooking the area is a perfect way to start the day. WiFi was available only in the "lobby" area but was reliable and fast. But honestly, spend your time exploring the shops and relaxing on a beach. The emails and facebook can wait. Located behind the place is a nice pool and seating area. I actually never used it as I spent my time at the beach and wandered along the Rua das Pedras. Had I stayed there a little longer and not spent the late night hours running, I would have definitely enjoyed a beer and looking up at the night sky with my fellow travelers. I am a runner and ran in the neighborhood and the Rua das Pedras at midnight and later. I was safe and was never even looked at by most people. They probably wondered why this gringo was running at midnight in 90F temps. ha ha. I am sure that all the luxury of this place comes at a price. I don't know what the rate was as it came in my trip bundle. The nearby (walking distance) gas station has plenty of snacks and alcohol for any cravings you have. So, if you happen to find yourself in the area, consider this place and enjoy everything about it. Oh, there are some beautiful horses that occasionally wander the streets (mostly at night). It was really cool to feed them grass and talk sweetly to them. In closing, this is my 800th review, whooo hooo, cue the golf clap! This hotel also provides you with a great view from the windows of the rooms and nice vaulted ceilings. It's close to convince stores and restaurants in the downtown area. It is very calming for families and couples. Also this hotel is walking distance from calm beaches which is very good ( no Uber ). Also it's very close to tour shores where you can go ride and drive buggies or take boat tours. Also you can't forget about the complementary breakfast from 6:30-10:00 A.M. I recommend for people to stay at this wonderful hotel
