I never felt pressured to choose the most expensive, etc. She listened to my concerns and related that to what she saw in the reading. It never felt rushed and I was very comfortable. This venue is AMAZING!! This was definitely one of the most pleasant, beautiful, and fun weddings…read moreI have ever attended!! As a photographer, sometimes shooting weddings is high stress and some hosts make things extra difficult. This was most definitely not the case here!! The scenery at this location is absolutely breathtaking and the owners Leslie and Michael are some of the sweetest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting in my life! They thought of absolutely everything and were so helpful to everyone involved in the day!! They laughed with us, they danced with us, they enjoyed this day as much as the bride and groom themselves!! They both have such a wonderful spirit and even their son was just a doll!! The chapel is the cutest little chapel I have ever seen and I totally adore the spiral staircase in the corner!! It made for a great photo!! The terrace is beautifully perfect, especially with the recent expansion!! It is complete with a fire pit, bathrooms, a bridal room and small kitchen area. The little bridal house is lovely and the creek makes for a beautiful backdrop. This was most definitely one of the best weddings I have ever been to!! Highly highly recommend this venue to brides to be! The chapel and terrace are perfect for smaller weddings (many more than 100 people things might get a little cramped) and this is definitely going to be on my list of favorite photography locations!!

Man I love this place. It's on the pricey side, and the very definition of frivolous (I mean, I…read moredidn't *need* a giant tea strainer...) but there's no better place for DIY cooking kits, gifts for foodies, or obscure cooking tools/utensils. It seemed like time for a review update, since I'm in Eggshells all the time! They also have cooking classes, and are the single best place to stop on the Heights Sip & Shop (Third Thursdays). You never know what they'll have, last time I was in it was andouille sausage hot off the grill with cheese and a cup of hot buttered rum. Yum! My favorite purchases from here are my Mulling spices (the spices, and that giant tea strainer) and our wine glass charms that look like tiny cats trying to climb into the glasses. Useful AND adorable!

We watched a Chef prepare the sauces while we sat as a group. A couple of students did some stirring but that was it. We were served the sauces over chicken and noodles at the end The shop was cute, the staff were great, but I would not spend this amount of money for a cooking demonstration.
