Much like Gaganis is what can be found in here but from the middle eastern side of the world. The people who have migrated here from the middle east are certainly catered for and it's probably like they never left home but without the fighting. Everything is on their doorstep including ours if we search for it and it can be found here as they have a huge range of items. Their products include cooking equipment and utensils, glassware, spices, rice, pulses, cooking oils and of course Halal meat. On the entertainment side they have movies, cd's in either Indian, Persian or Afghan. Also there is the latest news available and they serve drinks and food ready to eat. And fresh fruit and vegetables...I don't think they'd bother going anywhere else. I enjoyed coming here and for my next dinner event I intend on doing some middle eastern cooking.

Needless to say you will find all of the normal meaty goodness that you will find in most butchers, but they also have some prime cuts of high quality Angus and even some Wagu if you are lucky. There is also a very good selection of cured meats and silverside cuts that would suit thsoe with an older palet. I am a particular fan of their honey/soy marrinated chicken wings which have a very nice sticky consistency with an abundance of marinade. Stick them in the oven on 200-220 until they have just a bit of char and they go down an absoulte treat!

Sounds like a bunch of fancy names that don't mean much... The meat you used to buy back then and the meat you buy now is the same, with the exception of a few name changes. It's of the same high quality, the same low prices and we really stock up when we go here. My personal favourite item to buy is the burger. You put this bad boy in the frying pan and when you remove it, it's exactly the same size. There's no shrinkage. George Costanza would be proud. What more can I say? Every time we go shopping we stock up here for our meat, then the fruit and veg store, then Coles for whatever else we may need.

The facts are really clear - kangaroos cause a lot of damage out in the remote farmlands where farmers raise sheep and cattle - why? Because they want to dominate the Australian landscape and be available to you rather than have those ugly great critters with hoofs churning up the soil and turning good land into mushy dusty waste. Actually it is a realistic notion that we would be much better off farming Roo meat rather than beef and lamb, but you try telling that to some Cow or Sheep farmer - most of them are happy with the situation they've got. We however do have a choice - we can eat just about anything we want in Australia, and seriously, Roo Meat is great tasting and basically no fat. That's the truth, no fat. So I eat kangaroo, and I love it. If you want it fresh and cut so it doesn't look like anything other than edible meat, Aye Wun Meat is your best stop off for it. You can get meat balls, small thin cuts, marinated cuts and all of it is yummy. It's a family business so you can have a chat with the owners about where their meat comes from and why they have been selling kangaroo for so many years.
