Renovating an old automotive…read moregarage property with a DIY approach is fun until you realize there's not always time to learn a new trade and that some things are better left to the professionals. Our property had some dangerous and hideous sidewalks as well as a small driveway with huge bumps and cracks. We didnt know where to start so we made a poor decision and hired the first company that gave us an estimate and a time frame. Unfortunately, communication was difficult and often impossible. To make matters worse, we were on a strict time crunch with no date for the work to be done. After months of waiting we realized we werent a priority compared to larger jobs. So, we started looking again and we are so glad we did. On a Sunday afternoon we sent a message Tarmac Supplies LLC. We expected an answer on Monday but got a response in a few minutes. After a phone call with the owner, Jerry, we knew we liked his way of doing things. He had a very customer centered approach and promised us he'd be able to take a look in the next day or two to make a plan. He assured us that we would not be waiting months, only a week at most. Sure enough, the next day he and his lovely wife, Cara, arrived and did a full walk through with measurements and an estimate. Both of them were kind, friendly, professional and understanding of our situation regarding a deadline. They kept us updated right up the day the work began. The whole crew, Jerry and Cara included, got straight to work. They prepared the areas with great care and precision. The project included both asphalt and concrete, all of which was completed in just a few days as the property required some extra TLC. Jerry and his crew are meticulous and they strive for perfection and neatness. They explained the techniques being used and made sure we understood each step they were on. When we had questions, they gave us detailed answers. It was really cool to watch the process and they didnt mind us hanging out to see it all happen. It was hot weather and they still showed up on time and ready to go. The results are amazing to say the least. The property is not perfect, its old and wonky, nothing is level or straight. These guys gave this property a face-lift, not just with the paving. They fixed up the stone in our parking lot to be more functional and to look nice. These guys went above and beyond to help us in such a small timeframe and they prioritized our smaller project on the same level as the larger ones. They did a phenomenal job and we are so glad we gave them a call that day. Jerry and his crew do more than paving and we will be having them back to help with more projects in the future. They saved us, no doubt about it. If you want a company that is respectful, honest, fair, on time and just made up of good people, call Tarmac Supplies LLC. They WILL answer and you will understand why we wrote this review. We couldn't have done it without them and we can never thank them enough. Thank you Jerry, Cara and crew!
