Potter's Wax Museum gives Madame T a run for it's money. This place is huge and has so many displays. I like the variety from all time periods so everyone can enjoy. Most of the figures were on point from the critical point in these great figure's lives. Not sure about the scale and heights though. The head and hands are wax, while the body is a mannequin. I enjoyed my time there are tickets were only like $15 dollars. Also if you purchase other attraction tickets there, you get discounts on them. The staff were very friendly and informative. Easy to find on the corner and you can see it from the Visitor's Center.

I had my doubts about going here, but my wife wanted to go, but I have to admit, I enjoyed it. Very life like wax figures. There is also historic tidbits to learn and entertaining trivia questions.

It's been a few years since I visited Potter's Wax Museum and while I've always enjoyed it as a stop, they have really improved the experience. There are interactive barcodes throughout where you can learn about all of the figures. The spaces are now organized, put into categories and the space maximized to get the most out of your tour. You can even watch wax figures being made during your visit. If you haven't been for a while, I highly suggest you check out the upgrades. It's a different place, it's a must-do on your trip to Saint Augustine.

Great place! This was the first wax museum I have been to and I would say it was a great start. They had a lot of photo opportunities. They also had some informational signs telling the life and backstory of each person which depended the understanding of them. They had a lot of famous and familiar people. Overall, I loved the experience, great memories made!

Visited the Potter's Wax Museum for the first time last week. I appreciate the employee explaining on the history and instructions of the museum after I paid my ticket. The wax figures looked so real it did scare me a bit. All of them look very on point.

Wife and I went in on a whim and decided to take the tour. The owners were very friendly and helpful. My wife asked if they knew where we could get soft shell crab, and the gal called restaurants to find out if they were serving while we were in the museum. The museum was great, it was everyone you want to see in wax. Makes for a some great bits.

Pretty cool wax museum in the oldest city in America. A lot of different generations of figures. Some cool set ups to get pictures with wax history figures. Staff was very nice and helpful.

Amazing! The wax museum was at the end of my tourist journey. I'm so glad that I didn't skip this little gem. The skill used to create these figures is astounding. They're very life like. I felt somewhat uneasy as I madey way through the exhibit, expected movement. Impressive. Affordable. Worth the trip.

This is a really fun museum to visit. We got our tickets through the hop on hop off city trolly tour. When we showed up the museum was only open for 10-15 more minutes. The staff treated us like we were their first customers while letting us know they were about to close. This museum does not take a long time to go through, however you will be amazed at how many wax statues they have and how life like they are. I loved Ray Charles at the piano, the Presidents exhibit, Michael Jordan and the Friends exhibit. There are alot of statues and their likeness is spot on. I truly recommend a visit to this museum. You will be in and out, take lots of pictures and possibly relive some memories as you look at each character.

Must See! Fun History! If you're ever in the area you should definitely stop by for a quick trip back in time!

Great place to checkout! Lots of wax figures! The first wax museum in the states! Friendly, welcoming and very knowledgeable staff!

This museum is super cool! I was on the fence about coming here, as I have been to a large one in NYC, but this blew that out of the water. You can tell that so much love and thought went in to curate these amazing exhibits. I love the historic aspect to the building, as well as the exhibits. The sculptures are absolutely mind-blowing, they are so realistic! Definitely check this out!

Very cool seeing this Saint Augustine Historic Wax Museum!! Very informative staff and cool figurines. Worth the money. Rachel's info was easy to understand and take away with. Also cool little station that you could watch the students make wax figures!

Atlantic City when we were younger, so seeing one here brought back a lot of fun memories for us. The museum was just as quirky and fascinating as we remembered--full of oddities, interactive exhibits, and interesting facts that make you stop and say "no way!" We had a great time walking through the different rooms together, laughing and pointing out all the strange and unbelievable things on display. It was such a fun and nostalgic experience for us, and we're really glad we decided to visit while in St. Augustine. If you enjoy unusual exhibits and a bit of weird history, this is definitely a fun stop to add to your trip.

This review is for the Ripley's Believe it or Not Red Train Tour…read more We were able to purchase our tickets about 30 minute prior to our departure online. The tickets are reasonably priced for what you get. For almost an hour, you tour the local area and learn about its history. Cheyenne was our tour guide and she was great. Her voice and delivery are exactly what you would expect from a top-tier tour guide. Unfortunately, and through no fault of her own, the city streets are incredibly noisy so there were large portions of the tour that we were not able to hear in the back. They do have speakers and when the noise of the city is at a reasonable level, you can hear the tour guide perfectly fine. We have done lots of trolley tours and I have to say that this was definitely the bumpiest of any tour we have been on. There are a lot of cobblestone streets and uneven pavement. The tour is dog friendly and we love to bring our pup with us. I don't think this one was her favorite though because she kept climbing in our laps, which she typically does not do, most likely because of the very bumpy ride. But again, Ripley's is not responsible for paving the roads. It's just an observation. The train is open air, so even though it is incredibly warm and humid, the intermittent breeze and shade make it comfortable enough. Something we didn't realize until after we purchased our tickets and received our email confirmation however, is that you have to pay for parking as well, which we were not anticipating. Once we arrived in the area, we realized that virtually everywhere charges for parking, however, most attractions offer free parking if you are paying for tours or utilizing their services and it would be nice if Ripley's followed suit. It is $5 per hour and when you have to be at your hour-long tour a few minutes early, you'll end up paying at least $10 for parking in addition to your tickets. Still, if you are not sure what to do when you are arrive in town, I highly recommend this tour because there are so many options it can get overwhelming. This tour actually took us to multiple locations we were already considering visiting and helped us decide on our plans for the rest of our trip. It was quite helpful.
