Joe estimated $450 for the job and warned me that it would be more if they found damage after removing the shingles, which we both thought was quite likely. They found that one section of decking and one rafter were badly rotten. They took pictures of the damage, sistered in a new rafter, replaced the rotted decking section, took pictures of each repair, and replaced all the shingles, flashing, etc. as I'd requested. The total bill for the job was just $530 ($80 over the original estimate without the decking and rafter repair). I am very happy with the work done and the price.

A Truly Exceptional Contractor -- Valiant Contracting Earned My Full Trust!…read more A backed‑up sewer drain forced me into a complete bathroom gut and remodel -- the kind of nightmare project no homeowner ever wants to face. From the moment Valiant Contracting stepped in, the stress lifted. Their quote process was straightforward and refreshingly honest, with no fluff, no pressure, and no surprises. What set them apart was the control they gave me at every stage. I chose every fixture, every material, and even where each item was purchased. Zach, Aaron, and Justin treated my home with respect from day one. They were consistently polite, considerate, and professional -- the kind of crew you don't mind having in your house. The workmanship was outstanding. They moved quickly without cutting corners, and the final result looks and feels like a high‑end custom build. Even after we decided to replumb the shower and a sink to PEX -- a smart recommendation from Zach -- the total cost still came in far below the other quotes I received. Valiant Contracting is the rare company that takes real pride in their craft, and it shows in every detail of the finished bathroom. I recommend them without hesitation or equivocation. If you want a contractor who communicates clearly, works efficiently, and delivers exceptional quality at a fair price, this is the team you want on your project.

I placed a request for quotes and Mike called literally as soon as it was posted. He came by took a look at the situation and found the cause (the water softener drainage). It was in a tough spot and rather than tearing out the bathroom wall for more room, Mike was able to squeeze through the area where the piping was to reposition and secure for proper drainage. Not only was his pricing very reasonable but he saved us a lot of money by not needing to damage our walls to get more room. I highly suggest Mike for any household projects you may have. He is quick to respond, gives quality service, and reasonable in price. If there are any future projects or problems we need assistance with, we plan to call "Mr Handy Hands" first.
